Sign in to reviewAn Absolute Masterclass in Authentic Cuban Comfort Food! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Finding truly authentic Cuban food can be a challenge, but Cuban Kitchen is the real deal. Every single item we ordered tasted exactly like it was made from a family recipe passed down for generations. It is such a blessing to have authentic Cuban cuisine in this area! The highlights from an unforgettable meal: The Ropa Vieja & Sides: The shredded steak was unbelievably tender, rich, and perfectly sauced, pairing beautifully with a mountain of white rice and rich black beans. The sweet plantains (maduros) were fried to perfection, caramelized on the outside and soft on the inside. The Mojitos: Incredibly refreshing, perfectly balanced, and packed with fresh mint and lime. They don't skimp on flavor here; it’s easily one of the best around. The Hot Cortadito: A massive standout! A beautiful, bold shot of Cuban espresso cut with the perfect amount of sweet, warm steamed milk. It was absolutely delicious, smooth, and authentic. The Pastelitos & Desserts: The pastries are an absolute must-try. The turnover was flaky, golden brown, and packed with sweet filling, capturing that perfect bakery-fresh texture. The tiramisu was also wonderfully light, creamy, and beautifully dusted with cocoa. From the main entrees to the hot coffee and pastries, everything here hits the mark. The portions are generous, the food is seasoned with love, and the authentic vibe makes you feel right at home. We will be regular visitors here for sure!
Once of those great authentic cuban restaurant. Their food and drinks are one of a kind. They have this distinct taste that they can be proud to compete in the food industry. Definitely and highly recommended. Our top choice when it comes to cuban cravings.
Wow! Still dreaming of the platter I got. So good that my fiance said I said “that was good” 3x without knowing after we left. Staff were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and kind. We also loved the fact that they had so many sauces to add to our food! We got the platter (with yellow rice, plantain, beef and garlic, salad), fries and the Cuban sandwhich.
What a fun! Family owned, serving delicious fresh housemade food served by delightful staff. Not fancy, the “atmosphere “ comes from happy repeat customers and a great soundtrack. Give ‘em a try! Tonight I loved the Ropa Vieja and Tres Leches Tiramisu. Mmmmm.
As a long-time aficionado of Cuban cuisine, Cuban Kitchen is one of my favorites. It's up there in terms of authenticity, flavor and hospitality. The menu features the staples of the Cuban experience and some interesting additions. Everything is flavorful and fresh and served like it would at any Latin American home. The sauces are also very original and help you customize the flavor of each bite. The staff is friendly, approachable and helpful. My tip is to order the Vaca Frita, Rice, Beans and Maduros, all family style to experience a Cuban home-cooked meal.
