Sign in to reviewI’m a first time visitor to Dallas area and randomly found this place looking for good paella based on google reviews. I only had the paella and churros, so I can’t comment on anything else on the menu, but the food was very delicious. Paella was very flavorful, seafood was very fresh. The fact that it came out on a sizzling cast iron skillet shows that they care about the food/presentation. The homemade churros were perfect with a side of ice cream. The owner seemed to know all the customers that walked in, so this is definitely one of those local spots, gives you that cheers-tv-show vibe “sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name”. I can see why this spot has so many positive reviews. Highly recommend
We went to E. B. Latin Bistro for brunch on a Saturday after our usual favorite spot removed items from their menu, and a friend recommended this place. So glad we tried it! It’s an authentic Cuban mom-and-pop restaurant with delicious, comforting food. We started with tostones and yuca fries along with caipirinhas. The appetizers were amazing—this was my first time trying yuca, and I absolutely loved it. For the main course, we ordered pollo a la parrilla and arroz con pollo. The pollo a la parrilla was perfectly grilled with their house seasoning and tasted incredible. The arroz con pollo was also excellent—baked chicken mixed with rice and a light gravy/sauce, very flavorful and satisfying. Overall, a great experience. Our server was fantastic—very patient, explained everything clearly, and answered all our questions about Cuban food and recipes. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic Cuban flavors and warm service.
The el cubano and varieties were delicious, as well as the mojitos. We went for Sunday lunch so it was not busy.
place is a hidden gem. The food is fantastic. I recommend the Paella Valenciana. Note: I am allergic to shellfish, so I asked them to prepare it without shrimp, and it was great, (and a big portion). My wife got Ropa Vieja, a Cuban classic, which also was delicious. We finished with a Blueberry Cheesecake. It was the perfect slice—not too sweet and very tasty. EB Latin Bistro has become one of our favorites, especially because we can get both authentic Cuban AND Spanish food in the same restaurant!
This restaurant is a hidden gem that we return to over and over again over the years! We been here by ourselves and with groups, and I can honestly say you can order anything and it will be delicious. I'm not a food critic by any means so I probably don't have the right words for it, but everything just tastes...refined? One cut above the rest? The place is also family owned/run and they are the nicest people! You won't have a bad time here!
