D & T Autobody

D & T Autobody is an auto body shop at 6019 Baynton St, Philadelphia, PA 19144, serving drivers in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Customer feedback describes a shop that works efficiently, delivers excellent bodywork, and treats people with care. With a 4.6-star rating from 43 reviews, D & T Autobody may be a helpful local option for drivers looking for vehicle body repairs and a team willing to explain the process. Reviewers have brought more than one vehicle here for bodywork, and one customer described the shop as a go-to choice for repairs. The business is family owned and Black owned, details that customers have specifically noted when sharing their experiences.

Bodywork is the clearest service reflected in the available information. Customers report excellent repairs on their cars and praise the quality of the work, while another review calls out the shop’s efficient approach. If your vehicle needs bodywork, you can contact the shop to discuss the repair and request an estimate based on your car’s condition. A reviewer says D & T Autobody provides fair, reasonable estimates and is willing to work with customers when needed. These are customer-reported experiences, not a guarantee of a particular price, repair timeline, or outcome, so it is sensible to confirm the details directly before arranging service.

Communication and practical guidance also stand out in the reviews. One customer appreciated receiving informative explanations about insurance company policies and said the team was willing to work with them. That kind of support can be useful when a repair involves insurance questions or when you want to understand your options before proceeding. Other customers describe the staff as nice and personable, and one out-of-town reviewer praised clear communication and patient explanations during a vehicle purchase and delivery. Since that experience concerns a purchase rather than bodywork, it is best understood as an additional account of helpful service, not a description of the shop’s main repair offering.

D & T Autobody is located in Philadelphia’s 19144 ZIP code and is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; it is closed Saturday and Sunday. Before visiting, call or otherwise contact the business to confirm availability, discuss your vehicle’s needs, and ask what information is useful for an estimate or insurance conversation. The reviews suggest it may suit local drivers who value efficient bodywork, straightforward communication, reasonable estimates, and a personal approach. For anyone comparing auto body shops in Philadelphia, D & T Autobody offers a neighborhood option with customer feedback centered on repair quality and helpful interactions.
