DA VIEN COFFEE

Da Vien Coffee - the famous Socal coffee chain finally open in Milpitas and as a foodie, there's no way I would skip it. It’s their 2nd day but the line was shockingly long, but luckily it move really fast, we only waited around 15 mins only, and drinks came out in like 5–7 mins after ordering, so impressively efficient work!!! Huge applause for the staffs! The coffee tho… it was super strong, my heart was literally racing. But also really good, probably the best one you could've had in the Bay right now. I got the marble drip and ube coffee. Both are good but I def like marble drip more, I can see why it the most-ordered from the menu. It’s strong but still addictive enough, and a bit too sweet even though I chose 50% sugar. Next time I think I will go with 30% only. Place got free wifi, not a ton of seats but still enough for maybe 30 ppl. They also got app for preorder which is nice, very efficient overall. Highly recommended for every coffee lovers.

My 4th Davien store so far that I visited. It is as busy as other Davien store at Southern Califormia. Ordering can be at cashier or one touch screen ordering machine. This time I order vietnamese ice coffee with 50 % sweet. I am glad I can adjust the sweetness. As I remember at Socal store They didn't ask if I want to adjust the sweetness. Ordering is simple, quick and pleasant. There are seating area in the shop but it was packed. The service was pretty quick too. I was expecting longer wait as it was very busy but the wait was not that long. My coffee is not that strong but it was nice as it is not that sweet. I wish it is bit stronger. One thing I notice is it seems more ice than the coffee ☕️ 😀

What a Grand Opening Day Today! I didn’t expect hundreds of people to form a very long line that stretches through the sidewalk! I guess I pretty much underestimated the popularity of this coffee shop. I waited about 3 hours to get my coffee, but I’m all about the grand opening experience too. Basically, the first 400 people receives a ticket that gives you free items such as tote, Pokémon cards, water bottle, keychain, and a free complimentary drink voucher! Some people behind me left the line sadly because they later realized that they won’t get the tickets. Later on, one of the staff members seems to be nice enough to hand out the next 400 people for free stuff. I’m kinda disappointed that I didn’t get to see the grand opening ceremony since I was all the way at the back, but at least I showed up by commuting my way to Milpitas. Not such a long drive honestly. Anyways, my friend told me about this coffee place through messages and I heard that it’s good here. So I decided to get the most popular item, which happens to be Marble Drip. Honestly, it tastes very delicious and made me wonder how they’re able to make this coffee really good. It’s a good thing that the company decided to bring their flavors to the Bay Area since most of their locations are in Southern California. Also, this is actually the first location here at Milpitas. Overall, this place did not really disappoint me even the long line I had to endure for hours. Definitely, gonna be using the complimentary free drink voucher when I come back and maybe get one of their croissant sandwiches!

Like many other people, I was so excited for this SoCal Vietnamese coffee chain to open their doors in Milpitas, and especially during a soft opening -- you already KNOW that I had to go support the store with their new "soft" opening at their FIRST EVER Northern California location in Milpitas! I just want to give a big shoutout to the Milpitas team for going above and beyond to make sure that every single person's soft opening experience went smoothly, because it did sure do the trick for me as well. I went around 9:45 in the morning on a random Tuesday, and while the line was long, I was quite surprised that it wasn't around the block (at least, not yet). I wouldn't have been surprised if they were, but the line honestly went really quick and the staff were very professional. When I got up to the front, I ordered three of their Vietnamese egg coffees, which is usually one of their signature drinks that they offer. While it was quite bitter, the egg cream made up for it a majority of the time. I was quite impressed at how they put lots of coffee, and not lots of ice (compared to other places who water down their coffee). It was enough to get us through the whole day -- so that's how strong you know the coffee is. I will be sure to be attendance at their grand opening which is coming up LATER this week at the end of the week, on April 18, at 9am -- I'm honestly so excited for it to happen! GRAND OPENING UPDATE: I was fortunate enough to be able to attend the grand opening, and scored some goodies. Ambiance of the grand opening went very well, and despite the beginning stages of the very first NorCal location (as it is originally from Southern California), I have high hopes that this location will run quite well.

First time coming to this place and I love the selection of drinks my favorite one is the Ube latte. It was delicious. It’s very convenient that you can order online so you don’t have to wait in line. They’re very quick to have your drinks available by the time you get there love the fact that they have those bags to put the drinks and carry them outside instead of the cardboard ones, and they fit in your car to put your drinks. This place will go on my top list of favorite coffee shops here in the Bay Area. I’m looking forward to try the other drinks they have !!! by the way the staff is very friendly, very respectful very welcoming 😲🤭
