Sign in to reviewOmg, very impressed with their vegan/vegetarian sections. There's 1 whole isle of veg meats and another veg isle of vegan jerky and other dry goods. Also lots of vegan ramen as well.
This Asian groceries store has large varieties of vegetables and goods from many countries. There are condiments that I could not find in other stores. The layout is great making it easy to find everything. The store is also very clean. The parking lot is decent size. At times, it is a challenge to find a spot.
A brand-new Big T Market in a North San Jose neighborhood. They have a great selection of products, and the prices are very reasonable. Definitely a convenient spot for the area.
⸻ I was disappointed with my recent experience at this store. I accidentally purchased a bottle of garlic powder for $7.29 because I did not notice the price at the time. While I was loading my items into the car and glanced at the receipt, I realized how expensive it was compared to other stores. I then went back inside and politely asked if I could return it. Unfortunately, the employee named Thao responded in a way that made me feel uncomfortable. He asked why I didn’t check the price before buying it, which felt dismissive and unhelpful. When I mentioned that the price was almost double compared to other markets, I was told to “go there and buy it” instead. I understand that every store sets its own prices, but customer service should still be respectful and professional. I hope the store can improve its customer service in the future, as there are many other shopping options available in the area, such as Lee’s, Marina, Ocean, or Lion Market
Asian market much cheaper than western and asian chains it is our go to for cheap asian fruit and vegetables, asian cuts of meat, fresh and some live fish and live dungenous in season. Small frozen and refigerated section. Directed no Viet and SE Asians, there is not so much Chinese, Japanese or Korean foods. Popular enough that the parking lot is typically busy.
