This appointment was for my son to seek solutions for his skin issues. I had called multiple times to verify if they accept my insurance. They told me yes repeatedly. However, on the day of the appointment, they overcharged me $100 in the end and refused to take my insurance, while not even providing any services except dismissively told my son to go get his blood drawn elsewhere. They did not even provide ANY solutions or effective advice for my son whatsoever. On top of that, the environment was so unprofessional. They took my son into a OBGYN room for women and made him SIT in the gynocological examination bed in there to look at his skin issues. I was appalled. Ultimately, I can’t express enough at how upset I am with my experience. We came here for help and ended up leaving with NOTHING. If I could give 0 stars, I would.
I have been a patient in the Falls Church office since 2006. I travel 65 miles each way to see Dr. Dang-Vu because she listens, exams thoroughly, discusses treatment, and is always up-to-date on FDA-approved procedures that would benefit me. I just cannot imagine a more educated and personable dermatologist anywhere.
Found her in my in network coverage but the listed phone number didn’t work. Tried multiple times, once in the morning (10:30 am), once at noon and twice in the evening 4 pm and 5 pm over a few business days. I eventually visited the location and the front entrance was locked, looked like a home. I proceeded to ring the door bell but no response twice. Called once more from my car and then started to reach another in network provider. Cannot stress how this entire interaction was. It’s already bad enough having to seek medical attention for whatever you’re reaching out to a dermatologist for, let alone getting the run around. Lesson learned just avoid this place. It’s a miracle these other folks were able to get an appointment…
Dr. Anh is very effective. I like that she intentionally tries to pick medications that are covered by my insurance so I don't have to pay an arm and a leg. The only complaint that I used to have was getting to the office and waiting after the scheduled time of the appointment, but my recent experience has been that they take patients right at the scheduled time now.
Dr. Dang-Vu Anh P is very professional with her specialty in Dermatology. Her wonderful suggestions how to improve my skin care is greatly appreciated. She took time listen to you and treated your skin with care.
