For a savory bite, customers call out the steamed BBQ pork buns and a broad assortment of savory pastries. These are popular choices for a quick workday snack, an easy bite while out in Las Vegas, or something to share. Chicken and pork breaded buns have also appeared among the items customers seek, but some visitors have found particular buns unavailable when they arrived. If you have a specific pastry in mind, it may be worth checking what is available during your visit rather than assuming every item will be in the case all day. The selection can make browsing part of the experience, especially if you’re open to choosing from what’s freshly available.
On the sweet side, reviews mention pineapple buns, red bean balls, fruit tarts, and a blueberry muffin. Some customers praise the bread and muffins for staying soft and fluffy, even after a day or two in the bag, and describe the prices as reasonable. Others have found certain buns dry or mild in flavor, so tastes clearly differ. That mix of feedback is helpful if you’re deciding what to try: choose a familiar favorite, or pick up a few different pastries to compare. The bakery’s range offers both everyday baked goods and Chinese bakery classics, without requiring a full meal or a special occasion.
Diamond Bakery suits locals, visitors, families, and anyone nearby who wants convenient bakery treats or savory pastries to take along. The setting is a working bakery where you can browse the available breads, buns, sweets, and cakes; customer comments also describe the staff as friendly. With daily hours and a location on West Spring Mountain Road, it can fit easily into an errand or food stop. For a first visit, consider pairing a steamed BBQ pork bun with a sweet pastry such as a pineapple bun or blueberry muffin, while keeping in mind that popular items may sell out. Whether you’re returning for a favorite or exploring the selection for the first time, Diamond Bakery offers a practical way to sample Chinese bakery specialties in Las Vegas.

The bread and muffins are SO soft and fluffy, even after leaving them in the bag for 1-2 days! The blueberry muffin is amazing and everything is so well priced and delicious. Highly recommend, we stumbled across this place and I’m so glad we did!! Definitely check it out if you’re in LV at all!!
I've visited a lot of Vegas bakeries in my 35 years but Diamond Bakery has always remained my favorite. They have the best steamed BBQ pork buns in town and the widest selection of savory pastries that are perfect for quick bites at work. Their sweet pineapple buns, red bean balls, and fruit tarts are also lovely and they've recently added coffee and boba to their menu. Definitely worth a visit if you're anywhere near the main china town plaza. Be warned though, steamed pork buns come out of the kitchen at 10am and they do tend to sell out
They have plenty of varieties of Asian cookies, pastries, bread and cakes at a reasonable price. However, they were out by 10am of the chicken and pork breaded buns. The store has your normal mandatory mask wear. Staff are friendly. I will come back and try other stuff. Second time coming back the cashier/owner never acknowledge us, we said thank you and she never did say anything for the business we gave her. Not sure if we’re coming back. We try to support small business but they also need to learn to show some customers services quality. Too many competitors out there not to appreciate your customers.
I was on a hunt today for some steamed BBQ Pork Buns and some other stuff. This was 1 of 4 places I went to. I arrived a little before 11am. Sign inside says the buns are not available until 10:30am. I didn't see them anywhere in the …
tasted 2 stars! Very disappointed! On our vacation, First time here, tried few of their buns.... well, i had better down the street from another shop. All quit blend and bready.... the pineapple bun 🤦♀️, i shared half to my son, i have one bite... barely noticed anything on the top and dry! The other one tasted like bite in ton of sugar. With drumy bread.
