Ding Shi Foot Spa Massage is a massage therapist in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, located at 600 Washington Ave #8, Philadelphia, PA 19147. It may suit people looking for a practical, hands-on massage focused on physical comfort and wellness rather than a highly styled, aromatherapy-centered spa experience. Customer reviews describe sessions that can feel firm and direct, so preferences matter: some visitors value substantial pressure, while others report discomfort when the massage feels too intense. If pressure level is important to you, communicate your preference clearly before or during your visit and speak up if anything feels uncomfortable.
Reviewers mention both 60-minute and 90-minute appointments, and several describe noticeable attention to areas such as the shoulders and hips. Individual experiences vary considerably. Some customers praise their therapist and say they left feeling looser or more comfortable, while others describe a massage that was painful or not suited to their needs. These contrasting accounts make it especially worthwhile to discuss your goals and preferred pressure instead of assuming every session will feel the same. The available reviews also mention Cindy by name, with some customers describing especially positive experiences with her.
The overall impression from customer feedback is straightforward: Ding Shi is presented as a place for people seeking hands-on massage at a comparatively accessible price, rather than a visit built around elaborate amenities or a long consultation. One reviewer describes a 90-minute session for $90 before tip, but prices can change, so confirm current rates and appointment details directly with the business. Reviews note that the space was clean, while opinions about the massage itself differ. For a first visit, consider explaining any areas you want addressed, how much pressure you prefer, and any movements or techniques you would rather avoid.
The business is at 600 Washington Ave #8 in Philadelphia’s 19147 ZIP code, making the street address useful when planning a visit. Its listed hours are 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Check directly with Ding Shi Foot Spa Massage before traveling in case hours or availability have changed. The listing shows a 4.3-star rating from 67 reviews, alongside a range of personal experiences; that context can help you decide whether its direct, hands-on approach matches what you want.
Ding Shi Foot Spa Massage may be a fit for Philadelphia residents and visitors who want to explore a massage focused on physical relief and are comfortable stating their preferences. It may be less suitable for someone specifically seeking a gentle, luxury-style treatment or a carefully customized aromatherapy ritual, based on the customer descriptions available. No massage pressure works for everyone, and a positive result is not guaranteed. Ask questions before beginning, share relevant comfort needs, and request an adjustment whenever needed. Clear communication can help you make a more informed choice about whether this Philadelphia massage therapist is right for your visit.

Let me start by saying as a personal preference when I get a massage I firmly believe you should feel like you barely survived a bear attack when it's done so if that's not your preference my review is probably not for you. I got a 90 minute massage with Cindy (for $90 excluding tip). I came on Chelsea's recommendation from Tiktok and specifically sought her out. When I arrived she was finishing up on her last appointment. Cindy is a small Asian lady who massages like a martial arts master from TV shows. The way she worked at my back muscles - I know I'm going to be sore for the next serveral days. Additionally, it was an overall silent experience besides the calm music playing and her occasionally asking me in the pressure is right which made it easy for me to periodically fall asleep. Overall, great experience through and through. Would 1000% recommend Cindy and obviously tip her well if you get her. (I tipped 30$). She was efficient, kind, and well worth the price. Will definitely be coming back when the work stress takes my muscles again.
If you’re looking for the relaxing, fancy, aromatherapy massage where they spend the first 10 mins of your 60 min massage asking about your problem areas and helping you find a scent, this is not the place for you. If you’re looking for massage for wellness, this is the place for you. These therapists will find your problem spots without you telling them and they will make you feel so much better!!
Great prices good service clean, but I got a massage and it was the worst thing ever. I left there in so much pain. They rubbed my bones not my muscles bone on bone very uncomfortable massage
I had my first massage at Ding Shi today with Cindy. First, let me say that she was AMAZING, a miracle worker of sorts. As someone with a 25+ history of a stroke with left-sided weakness and spasticity, I can truly say that Cindy took-20 years off of me. The contractures, stiffness and rigidity melted away( not without a lot of hard work and lots of pain) but breathing through it helped! I feel like a new woman and I truly owe that to Cindy at Ding Shi Foot Spa. Thank you Lord for answered prayers🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
I had a life changing 90 minute massage today. My massage therapist was fantastic. My shoulders and hips are like new.
