Dr. Xiao referred me to multiple specialists out of network without even telling me ahead of time that they weren’t in network, and the lady at the front desk was so rude to me when I asked why they would do such a thing and sink me …
Do not recommend — it has been nothing but a hurdle and money grab at every turn with this practice. I’ve experienced challenges in booking sick visits, receiving requests, referrals, and while it appears she may have changed front staff, billing has been a problem in the past due to lack of proper staffing.
The staff were for the most part, polite. However, the wait for the appointment was super long. It took 50 minutes to get into a room and even be seen from the appointed time. It didn't leave a good first impression.
I want to make it clear first that this review is not directed at Dr. Xiao. Dr. Xiao is kind, professional, and I have no complaints about his care. However, the overall experience at the clinic was extremely disappointing due to the staff. The Chinese-speaking front desk staff member was very rude, impatient, and highly unprofessional. She made multiple mistakes, showed no attention to detail, and even used inappropriate language during communication. This is completely unacceptable in any medical setting. In addition, the young nurse responsible for injections was also very unprofessional. She became visibly irritated when I asked a few simple questions, and the situation escalated to the point where she slammed the door and walked away. That behavior is shocking and unacceptable. I paid for medical services and a check-up — not to be treated with disrespect and hostility. On a positive note, the English-speaking front desk staff member was polite and professional, which I appreciated. Overall, the clinic seriously needs to improve staff training and professionalism. I strongly urge management to address these issues immediately, as this kind of behavior reflects very poorly on the clinic.
Absolutely amazing, she is very direct but takes the time to make me feel like she is listening and actually cares. best of both worlds. The are very responsive in the portal with any inquires I have had. Their referrals are always quick. Front staff has always been nothing but attentive and kind to me.
