Sign in to reviewI've been a patient at Western Dental and Orthadontics in El Cajon since 2018! I had a Dental exam last year with dentist Dr. Nguyen & I was appalled that he had the nerve to tell me, " You have broken teeth! I'm aware that I have had problems with my teeth that have needed fixing over the years! No dentist should ever say anything that callous to any patient! I can't remember which dentist I had that took care of crowns that needed replacing! Unlike Dr. Nguyen, he was compassionate & treated me with respect! I will never have Dr. Nguyen( who did a root canal & a few fillings I needed last fall) EVER work on my teeth again! He lacks compassion, acts unprofessional, & has no business being a dentist! If he gets enough complaints from patients like me, I hope he loses his license to practice dentistry! Replace him with a compassionate dentist who has respect for patients! This is not okay!
Dr.Nguyen is the best dentist I’ve ever met . Professional caring and extremely knowledgeable. I am a dentist myself and he is the only one I trust treating my teeth .
Dr. Nguyen spent five minutes or more yelling at me. I said the dentures were too big, they were gouging into my mouth, and could not keep them in my mouth. He began yelling at me that there was no such thing as too big, that my gums would grow into them. Next, he proceeded to yell at me that over a 1,000 of his patients have all had the same complaint and he told them the same thing. Gums grow to fit the dentures. And that there was no such thing as too big. He finally consented to take the edges down, but the bottom ones gouge into the back of my mouth and the bottom still, and the teeth are too big, I cannot fit food into my mouth to chew. His behavior triggered my PTSD and I became loud, emotional, and in tears. Every visit to this office has been horrifying.
