I've been seeing Dr. Tom Nguyen for a few years now. He as been great. Very nice and takes time to explain things. The problem is the staff, just like all of the other reviews. The staff is extremely rude and gets confused on your appointment times and days. I continued to see Dr. Nguyen because he's a good doctor. I just couldn't deal with the staff any longer. On several occasions the doctor told me one thing and the staff told me something different. When I explained what the doctor told me, I was told the doctor would never say that. I was basically called a liar.

3 things set him above other providers 1- On the rare occasion he isn't sure, he will do research in the room during your appointment to determine the best course 2-He's partnered with a naturalistic/Olde Eastern Raw Good Vegan MD 3-If they can't help you heal yourself, they're well connected with Dr. Nguyen, MD reminds me of the movie Doc Hollywood. He's smart, witty, kind, caring, honest, funny, well educated, always smiling, takes his time treating the whole patient as a person by having a true conversation asking and answering several questions.

They were rude, dismissive and have no concept of customer service. While I was attempting to schedule another appointment, the front desk ladies were texting and laughing at their text with each other while in the middle of conversation with me. They would ignore me mid sentence. We were literally in a conversation and she got a text and just completely stopped talking to respond to it. She even got up to show her coworker the text!!!I was in shock. That happened TWO more times within the 5 minutes I was standing there. They acted like I wasn’t even there and on top on that (I realized this a few hours after) she scheduled me for the wrong day after I told her asked her multiple times to make sure it was THIS coming Monday. I waited for the doctor for 40 minutes and then he finally came in and was with me for all of two minutes. He told me that I would need to come back next week for the blood work and that I would need to repeat everything I had just told him because he will have forgotten by our next appointment. Don’t they take notes and have patient files?? I have never been to a doctor’s office with such unprofessional behavior. I will not be going back there.

Ya'll - I didn't even get to make an appointment. When the phone was answered, the woman on the line didn't bother to state where I was calling. So I had to ask if it was the office of Dr. Nguyen. She interrupted saying there were two Dr. Nguyens. I said that if they were accepting new patients, I'd like to make an appointment. She asked which doctor, to which I said I had no preference. She asked my symptoms and I used a general "stomach issues." We hadn't even chosen a doctor, I'm not going to spill my story only to repeat it again when you've made the appointment. She half yelled, "like what?!" in a severe tone. I immediately changed my mind. No matter how good a doctor is, poorly trained/noncommunicative staff can and will always ruin an experience.
