This provider only wants to see the Vietnamese patients. If you’re African-American, forget it. I had a very disappointing experience at this office as a new patient trying to establish care and get routine blood work done. Unfortunately, the provider demonstrated extremely poor bedside manner from the moment she entered the room. She did not introduce herself and immediately began speaking in a blunt and dismissive tone about what she would and would not prescribe—without first listening to my concerns or reviewing my history with me. I was still in the process of completing my paperwork, including listing medications previously prescribed by other physicians, when she began making assumptions instead of asking clarifying questions. There was no effort to build rapport, understand my needs, or provide patient-centered care. Her body language was negative and made the interaction feel very uncomfortable. Based on both my experience and similar concerns I’ve seen from other patients, I left feeling uneasy and, frankly, disrespected. As an African-American patient, the interaction raised concerns for me about possible bias, which is deeply troubling in a healthcare setting where trust and respect are essential. While the front desk staff were polite and professional, the overall experience with the provider was unacceptable. Additionally, I was concerned to see blood drawn without gloves being worn, this is a basic infection control standard and should not be overlooked. I regret choosing this office and would not recommend it to others seeking compassionate, respectful care.

Extremely unprofessional. When I first started going to her I thought everything was going to be great but then things slowly started failing, most of which falls on her office staff. Her office staff will not pick up the phone during office hours and if they don't pick up the phone it will typically tell you there isn't a voicemail set up. They try to get you into the office for every little thing but then when you are there the doctor will hardly help. Recently, I had bronchitis and was told by the doctor that I should just sip on hot water. Just today, I needed to get a referral to a therapist I have seen for years- and they have given me a referral for in the past. I just switched insurances so I called to get that re-sent. I was told that the doctor wouldn't send anything without seeing me. Meaning I would need to take off work, to wait 2 hours in the doctor's office (because they're never even close to on time) to talk for two minutes that I want to see the therapist that I have already seen and been given referrals for. I asked to speak to the doctor over the phone and was told if you call back at 4pm I will be able to let you speak to her. I called back at 4pm and the doctor of course cannot be spoken to and I am told "I never said it was 100% that you could talk to her". As nice as Dr. Thien-An Nguyen might be, it isn't worth it when your time is on the line and things are never fixed or finished.

This office is definitely a hit and miss due to the chaos of the COVID pandemic and what remedied the "bad service". This office is ok. Staff will pick up the phone and assist if they are there and not busy, I see effort. Dr. Nguyen IS compassionate in her work for patients. Overall, their service qualities fall on whatever circumstances they're in. I certainly understand that.

Unprofessional doctor that I ever known. I called to make an appointment to see doctor to check on cold symptoms, sinus and coughing. Doctor asked me to check covid first, I told her I have been check and this just a common cold or flu, she asked me to recheck again if I got covid she can’t make appointment to see me with the reason her office has elderly patients. Now I know why her patients come 1 to 2 times and then they change to another doctor because of her attitude.

The office called me to make an appointment for a physical because it had been over a year and I take a daily prescription. Appointment was for 8:30am. Had my vitals taken by the nurse and was placed in a room. At 9:30am I still hadn't been seen so I asked the front desk if the doctor was in the building, she informed be that she was on her way. Same thing happened with my husband a few months prior. They take appointments for her hours before she even arrives. I left without seeing the doctor and I will not return. She has been my physician for almost 10 years and I'm really disappointed with my treatment the past couple. She doesn't listen to me and just tries to make it as quick as possible.
