The directory lists the business as open every day, Monday through Sunday, from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. For people comparing care options in the Oklahoma City area, this location and its listed hours are useful starting points when contacting the provider to ask about availability, services, and whether it can meet a family’s specific needs. Because care arrangements depend on individual circumstances, families should confirm details directly with Elara Caring.
Customer feedback describes both deeply positive care experiences and serious concerns, so prospective clients may find it helpful to consider the full range of reviews. Several family members express gratitude for support during a loved one’s final days and describe care that felt kind, compassionate, and respectful. One review recalls that Elara Caring Hospice helped a grandmother remain at home, as she had wished, and praises the nurse and social worker involved. Other reviewers thank doctors, nurses, care aides, and a chaplain for their knowledge and support. These accounts suggest that some families have valued the people who cared for them through difficult moments.
Reviews are not uniformly positive. Other customers raise concerns about communication between staff, training, supervision, attitudes, work ethic, and administrative responses to medical needs. Those reports describe experiences that differ sharply from the praise shared by other families. Elara Caring has a listed rating of 3.2 out of 5, based on 28 reviews, which reflects a mixed overall picture rather than a consistent experience for every household. Families may want to discuss who will coordinate care, how updates are shared, whom to contact with concerns, and what steps are available if their needs change.
Elara Caring may be worth considering for Oklahoma City families exploring home-based support, including families seeking information about hospice care and help for a loved one near the end of life. Reviews indicate that the people involved in care can include nurses, doctors, care aides, social workers, and chaplains, though the exact team and services available should be confirmed directly. When reaching out, describe the care needed, ask what services are appropriate, and clarify scheduling and communication expectations. A thoughtful conversation can help determine whether the provider is a suitable fit for the person receiving care and the family supporting them.

There are truly no words that can fully express the gratitude I have for Amy, Angelina, Dr. Meredith, and the entire team at Elara Caring. During my dad’s final days, they cared for him with such incredible kindness, compassion, and dignity. They didn’t just care for him—they cared for our entire family during one of the hardest times of our lives. Amy and Angelina’s gentle hearts, patience, and genuine empathy brought us comfort when we needed it most. They treated my dad with the utmost respect, always making sure he was comfortable and preserving his dignity every step of the way. Their compassion wasn’t just part of their job—it came from who they are as people, and that made all the difference. Dr. Meredith’s compassion, honesty, and guidance helped us navigate an unimaginable journey. They all took the time to answer our questions, explain what to expect, and truly listen to us. They listened as my dad cried, offered a shoulder to lean on, and gave encouragement during moments when the grief felt almost unbearable. They made sure my dad was comfortable and received the best possible care, ensuring his needs and comforts were met right up until his final moments. Their kindness, attentiveness, and empathy brought us reassurance and peace during moments filled with uncertainty and heartbreak. Losing my dad has been one of the greatest heartbreaks of my life, but knowing he was surrounded by people who genuinely cared for him gave our family comfort that we will never forget. The kindness, respect, and love shown by Amy, Angelina, Dr. Meredith, and the entire team at Elara Caring will forever be part of our memories of his final days. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything you did for my dad and for our family. Your compassion, dedication, and unwavering support will never be forgotten. We are forever grateful for the care you gave, for ensuring his needs and comforts were met until his very last breath, and for the comfort, dignity, and peace you gave him—and all of us—during such a difficult time.
Cannot in good conscience recommend. The left hand of Elara Caring does not know what the right hand is doing. The employees are not trained. They are not supervised. They have really bad attitudes. Very poor work ethic. Believe every review that tells you Elara Caring has communication skills that are a nightmare. By far, more trouble than they are worth. Their employees could not even get jobs in nursing homes. Bottom of the barrel. Do not waste your precious time and energy on this company. If you value your peace, do not use this company. The word “Caring” should be stripped from Elara Caring.
The only thing my grandmother wanted at the end of her very long life was to stay and pass in the comfort of her own home. Elara Caring Hospice allowed that to happen. Larisa was our nurse. She was amazing the whole time. The social worker, Kevin was very helpful. The whole team was extremely involved even when I had to call in the middle of the night just to ask a question. They were there every step of the way with us. If ever in need of this service again for another family member they will be the first place I call.
On behalf of our family, I’d like to express our deepest gratitude for the excellent care provided by my mother’s Elara care team. Every single care team member, whether doctor, care aide, nurse, or chaplain, was extremely knowledgeable as …
WORST company ever, I had to select one star, but they deserve none. If you've the misfortune of dealing with this company, I highly encourage you to stay on them about the "services" they provide. Lauren "the admin" lacks compassion and understanding of medical needs, to her and others in this company, it's all about billing Medicare, but providing little to no services, other than sending "alleged nurses" numerous times per week to check temperature and blood pressure, despite being told to limit nurse visits. Now, the "alleged nurses," they lack home training and walk into people's home without even greeting those in the home. They show no identification and their attire is unkept to put it nicely. I highly encourage you to seek help with the Oklahoma State Department of Health hotline if you or your loved ones fall victim(s) to this company and their blatant health care fraud conduct. They refused to do a simple discharge without being complicated and continuing to bill Medicare for NO REASON. STAY ALERT!! Follow up to response, I did email and other than the posted vague response, I have yet to hear from anyone from your company. Again, TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, HORRIBLE COMPANY!
