Elara Caring is listed as a home help service agency in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at 7101 Northwest Expy Ste 325, Oklahoma City, OK 73132. The listing shows hours of 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. every day of the week. Those are the business hours displayed in the directory; families should contact the agency directly to confirm which services are available, how to reach the right team, and whether visits or support can be arranged at a particular time. The information provided does not specify a detailed service menu, so it is best to ask about the type of help needed before making plans.

The customer feedback describes experiences with several kinds of care, including hospice, help at home, nursing communication, and physical therapy. One family member says hospice support gave their mother the chance to be a spouse again after years of caregiving, and describes the staff as kind and like extended family. Another reviewer recommends the agency for older parents or someone who needs help around the house. These accounts suggest that families looking for support at home may want to ask whether Elara Caring can assist with their particular situation and what care options are available locally.

Reviews are mixed, and the directory rating is 3.5 out of 5 based on 13 reviews. Some reviewers praise nurses for their kindness and describe positive support for a loved one. Others raise concerns about delayed responses, coordination among staff, waiting for additional service hours, and decisions about physical therapy visits. One reviewer also describes a distressing interaction when seeking help for pain. These reports reflect individual experiences, not a guarantee of what another client will encounter, but they give prospective clients useful topics to discuss directly with the agency.

For families comparing home help agencies in Oklahoma City, it may be useful to ask who will coordinate care, how quickly calls and messages are returned, how service schedules and hours are decided, and what happens if needs change. If therapy or hospice care is relevant, ask which services are offered, how eligibility and visit limits are determined, and how concerns can be escalated. Elara Caring’s listed location is on Northwest Expressway, and its directory hours show availability throughout the week. A clear conversation before signing up can help clients and caregivers understand expectations and decide whether the agency is a suitable fit.

I am so thankful for Elara Caring Hospice. My mom was my father caregiver for so many years. When we chose Elara Caring Hospice, they came in and allowed my mom to be a wife again and not have to be his caregiver. They took excellent care of him. The staff is top notch and felt like extended family. Thank you to the entire Elara Caring team. I am so thankful that OU health recommended Elara based on great care and where we live.

Told me to stop calling when I'm in pain, because I'm "using up resources", whatever that could possibly entail it's a disgusting sentiment. They provided nothing in line with the ethos of hospice and bluntly the physician in charge of my care should not being working in palliative care at all given the way they treated me as a patient. I thought curative treatments was bad but whatever Elara calls "hospice" is much much worse. Unfortunately this company is a detriment to the well being of the patients they "care" for. They have zero clue how to treat patients on the spectrum and they have a big conniption when you tell them your care plan isn't working. Further to mention, that they regrettably find it morally and ethically acceptable to give hospice patients a "write up"... I have found nothing more disgusting during my time in public health. The final "phase" of life is sacred and Elara finds a way to make it scary and painful. As someone with a background in public health, I believe the administrative and clinical failures I witnessed fall completely short of acceptable accreditation standards. Find yourself or your loved one a hospice that well, actually follows the ethos of peace, comfort, and dignity during the time of transition.

The nurses were kind, once I was able to get ahold of them. They do not communicative with each other. They discharged me from PT well before I was ready, claimed I only had 5 visits approved. They said they fought for more but I was denied. . Insurance said they never tried for more. They actually never tried for PT, but skilled nursing instead, which I didn’t need. The PT they had me with (Rani) was extremely rude and curt. When I called her out on her being hateful, she said she would be sending out someone else to discharge me. So she sends out Travis, who was extremely pushy and rude, to further demean me discharge me 1visit early. Now, I’m behind on PT and having to have a different HH to come in to finish.
