Whether you are looking for dinner nearby or a comfortable setting for a date night, Erawan is a local option worth considering.

Several dishes stand out in customer reviews. The chive pancakes, khao soi, and drunken noodles have all been part of a memorable meal for a returning guest, while other diners recommend the Pad Thai for its authentic taste and the Tom Yum for its rich, bold flavor. Papaya salad and beef salad have also earned enthusiastic mentions. These varied favorites make Erawan a place to consider if you want to keep to a well-loved classic or try something different from the Thai menu. Reviews also mention mango sticky rice as a dessert enjoyed alongside the savory dishes.

Curry lovers can look to the red curry with shrimp, which one guest paired with steamed vegetables, adding them right into the curry bowl. Chicken curry dumplings have been a longtime favorite for another diner, who fondly remembers them. Fried fish with curry and pineapple fried rice received less favorable feedback from some guests, a reminder that individual preferences can differ from dish to dish. Taken together, the reviews offer specific suggestions while leaving room to choose according to your own tastes. The menu includes enough different kinds of dishes for a shared meal or an individual order.

The overall experience is part of the appeal: reviewers repeatedly describe attentive service, a welcoming atmosphere, and meals that bring them back. One returning customer appreciated being accommodated during a visit at 9 p.m.; this is a report of that visit, not a statement of current business hours. Erawan Thai Cuisine is located on South 23rd Street in Philadelphia, making its address easy to keep in mind when planning a meal in the area. If you are searching for a Thai restaurant in Philadelphia with praised Pad Thai, flavorful Tom Yum, salads, curry, noodles, and desserts, Erawan offers a range of reviewed choices in a cozy setting.

Love this place! The atmosphere and decor are delightful; a cozy, peaceful corner with thoughtful, considerate service and good food. I had the red curry with shrimp, and added a side of steamed veggies that I just added straight to the bowl of curry for some extra veggies. Will absolutely come again.

Very very good Pad Thai. Authentic taste. Same with the Tom Yum, rich and bold flavor. The Pineapple Fried Rice wasn't tasty unfortunately, we expected more. The atmosphere is cozy and warm and the waiter is friendly.

We stopped in for dinner and had several signature Thai dishes. The papaya salad was amazing here along with the beef salad. The fried fish and curry was underwhelming though. Tried several other dishes as well. Service was great. Definitely recommend.
