Four months ago, I took a gamble when I walked into the now-closed Fabric Salon without an appointment and had Julie, the owner, cut and tone my hair on a whim. I'm admittedly particular and wanted to be sure we got it right. We worked together and made up a game plan. She did SUCH an amazing job on the first go-round that I followed her - across the river - to Evolution Hair Design for a second cut and tone, which was also extremely well done. Julie has great instincts and really makes me feel taken care of. She errs on the side of conservative with a willingness to adjust if needed, which I appreciate in a stylist. Far too often, stylists take big swings and the client is left with the consequences. That isn't Julie. She is intuitive about what will work, yet open. She is personable, yet efficient. She really shows up for her clients. It was such a pleasure to see her in her new spot. If you're looking for someone exceptional, go see her! It's reasonable and the work is top tier.

She nursed my hair back to health and has taken me through blonde, brunette, and vivid colors flawlessly.
