Coffee is a central part of the experience. Reviewers praise the espresso drinks for tasting like coffee rather than being overwhelmed by milk, and describe the coffee as smooth. For a distinctive choice, customers mention the Pistachio Meadow Latte, Peanut Butter Latte, and Popcorn Latte. These named drinks offer a range of flavors for people who like trying something beyond a standard latte, while the positive comments about the espresso may appeal to visitors who prefer a more classic coffee taste. The pastry case is another reason customers return. Customers also mention sweet treats and a classic breakfast sandwich priced at $10 in one review. With plant-based pastries and breakfast options, Exquisite Creatures Coffee can suit guests looking for dairy-free choices as well as anyone simply in the mood for a satisfying pastry alongside a drink. ○almond croissant ○pesto danish ○classic breakfast sandwich ($10) ○pistachio meadow latte ($8) ○peanut butter latte ($8) ✨Review✨ Everything here is completely plant based, and the café itself is super stylish and inviting!☘️🦉 The croissants were amazing. They actually had those beautiful flaky layers that make a great croissant, and they were both soft and crispy at the same time. The almond croissant wasn’t overly sweet, which was exactly my preference. 💕 The savory Danish was also incredibly delicious and definitely put a smile on my face!🥐 There were so many latte options that it was hard to choose😂, but I went with the Pistachio Meadow Latte. 🍵 You can choose either matcha or espresso, and I picked matcha. 💚 It had a rich pistachio flavor while still keeping that pleasant matcha bitterness. Absolutely delicious! There isn’t a lot of seating inside, but the café has beautiful artwork and a very aesthetic atmosphere. 🎨The staff were also incredibly kind and welcoming.🌼 ⏰ One tip: I visited around 9:30 a.m. on a weekend, and the pastry case was full. By around 10:30 a.m., it was almost empty! If you’re hoping to try their pastries, I’d definitely recommend getting there early. A beautiful plant based café with delicious pastries, creative drinks, and a lovely atmosphere. I’d happily come back again! 😆🌷

One of my favorite coffee shops in Portland, and that is saying a lot because there are so many great independent coffee shops here. Espresso drinks are fantastic, they taste like good coffee, not just hot milk. The pastries are next level, be sure to try the miso chocolate chip cookies baked fresh by one of the baristas. The interior is classic Portland post industrial chic turned warm, cozy, and welcoming. Breakfast sandwiches are fantastic. Local artists are featured regularly. This coffee shop isn’t close to me but I end up here almost once a week.

A cute little coffee shop with delicious breakfast sandwiches and sweet treats! The Non-Basic Masa croissants are so flaky it's almost hard to believe there's no dairy. But it's also easy to remember that everything's plant-based, because …
