Salon is okay. I highly dislike having someone starting my nails during my pedicure, it makes the experience not relaxing at all. Second and my main issue is with the quality of the work. My nails were lifting within three days and popping off in less than a week… I knew I was going to have issues as whomever did my nails was struggling to even build the acrylic, kept wiping it off and starting over because it was so watery. I should have said something during the service. I would have rather spent $130+ somewhere else for nails that would have lasted, I am moving to the area and definitely would not return here.

I had a very disappointing and uncomfortable experience at this nail shop. I walked in during business hours and the salon was completely empty. There were multiple staff members present, yet I was told they could not take me for service. No explanation was given, no alternative options were offered, and they didn’t even attempt to schedule an appointment for later. What made the situation more concerning was the feeling that I was being intentionally turned away. As a Black woman, the interaction felt dismissive and discriminatory. There were clearly technicians available, yet no one was willing to assist me. The lack of professionalism, basic customer service, and common courtesy was unacceptable. Regardless of the reason, turning away a customer from an empty salon without offering solutions is poor business practice. Everyone deserves to feel welcomed and respected when spending their money. I will not be returning and would not recommend this establishment to others seeking a professional and inclusive environment.

I just left the salon and I again am left feeling disappointed with my gel manicure. I've tried this salon three times now and most of the staff is very friendly, so I hate to leave this review. However, each time I've gone I've asked my cuticles be pushed back as far as possible and cut thoroughly all the way around, and each time they are not. I explain that the skin on the sides of my nail bed bother me a lot when it grows back, so it wont bother me that they cut around the sides. Each time they hardly push the cuticle back and I have to ask them to go over it again, which puts me and the nail tech in an uncomfortable position. Additionally, the nail tech I had today was cutting my cuticles using the center/end of the cuticle cutter and cutting them picking/pulling motion. This left my cuticles and skin looking picked at and rough. I am used to the cuticle first being pushed far back, then cut using the front of the trimmers leaving a string of cuticle cut off. But I didn't want to say anything until she was finished with my hand because maybe her way was just as effective. However, in the end I didn't like it. Lastly, the amount of cuticle uncut left less room for paint. My nails look uneven at the bottom of nails and there is space between the paint and the start of my nail bed. I asked one of the employees who works the counter, I think her name is Jessi, why they leave the skin there and she explained they don't recommend cutting that much cuticle because bacteria can get in nail bed. However, I've never had a problem before when they were cut that far. She said what I want is more of a Russian manicure. I asked her if it's possible to at least push the cuticle back further, so there can be more room to paint and she responded "Maybe, you can also do that at home." I found this to be a bit attitudey because obviously I can push my cuticles back at home, but I paid to have that done here. In a nutshell, I will not be returning. But I hope they consider this review going forward.
