Farmers Insurance - Edder Barcenas-Cortez

Edder and his Insurance team are amazing very knowledgeable and professional. They helped me insure some of my investment properties with great coverages for investment property.

I had a Farmers agent for 10 years jn Berkeley. He was responsive and excellent. When he retired, I was transferred to this business. I was used to an agent that answered questions and responded to emails. This business never responds. On a Friday they told me that my home insurance would be canceled on the following Monday. Drone pictures taken two months before of my roof after a major storm suggested a repair was needed. They never let me know. I had to scramble to find a roofer. Edder never answers calls himself. Let’s his staff with no experience or knowledge answer. My umbrella policy quadrupled in price. I asked for an explanation. I still haven’t heard back. In this insurance market, you need a knowledgeable and responsive agent. This business is not it.

Horrible services. They added my father back onto my policy without asking causing my rates to go up. Luckily I notice on the renewal documents. They NEVER answer their phone to help. I've had to call the 888 number every time. Id suggest going with a different farmers agent.

It was such a pleasure working with Edder. He took the time to go over the entire home owners insurance package which made picking an insurance a breeze! As first time home owners there’s so much that you have to take care of but luckily we had Edder to make this process a lot smoother. Will definitely be recommending him to friends and family!
