Dr. Powless and his staff are amazing! My son with special needs went in this past week for what was originally going to be a cleaning and some fillings. Once they were able to take good X-rays we found out it was more than that. Everything was explained to us with kindness and we felt confident to have them do the work during the visit. I'm so happy we found this office and will be bringing my son for any dental needs he has in the future. Thanks again!

I am so glad that my daughter find this dentist for me. I have been going there for about two years maybe a little more every time I come my experience is very good. I love the hygienist that I have every Doctor that I have seen always seem to be very professional When they move to Saint Petersburg I even traveled there so glad they are back in Tampa, and I hope they stay there because this will always be my Dentist. Every experience been a good one. I would highly recommend this dentist office to anyone.

We had a great experience with the doctor and his team. They were kind, patient and made us feel very comfortable. Unfortunately, the woman at the front desk who checked us in was unwelcoming. Her attitude and little comments came across as unprofessional, which was disappointing because the rest of the team was wonderful.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Powless and his entire staff. Our son, Jaxon, is a special needs child who required a root canal after developing an infection. What should have been a straightforward treatment turned into a year-long journey filled with conflicting opinions, referrals, and frustration. We were told the tooth needed to be pulled, then told it could potentially be saved, but despite seeing multiple dentists, no one could tell us who could actually perform the procedure. After seeking a second opinion from a 2nd oral surgeon, we were finally referred to Dr. Powless. From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in the right place. Dr. Powless and his staff were kind, patient, professional, and incredibly understanding of Jaxon’s unique needs. What impressed me most was not only their ability to successfully complete the procedure, but also the genuine care they showed throughout the process. Dr. Powless took the time to explain everything and remained just as invested in finding answers as we were. He even commented that Jaxon’s case was unusual because there was no large cavity present, which is typically what is seen in situations like this. After a year of uncertainty, Jaxon was finally able to receive the treatment he needed and keep his tooth. That outcome means more to our family than words can express. Jaxon has one of the most beautiful smiles that truly melts our hearts every day, If you are a parent of a child with special needs or have been struggling to find someone willing and able to handle a complex dental situation, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Powless and his team.
