Better than average prices and helpful staff. Joshua and Aurelia both went out of their way yesterday, 5/4/26, to either help me local an item or inform me of the rewards program. I am grateful for the both of themand this location. There is no Foodtown on my side of south Houston. I make it a point to to come here whenever I'm in the area.
I went to the store to buy my weekly groceries as usual. However, when I went to the pay for all my stuff and I wanted to redeem my FoodTown points, I asked the cashier whose name is Delane D. that I wanted to redeem such points but that I didn’t know how to do that. She responded in a really mean way that it was not up to her and that should’ve know how to that. Then I repeated that I didn’t know how to redeem the points and then she “helped me” with a terrible attitude and continued checking all my stuff. Since before paying for my groceries she seemed to have a terrible attitude like pulling my shopping car a bit violently when dealing with the person in front of me, so even before interacting with her she was already in a terrible attitude. I might stop attending this store, I don’t think is worth having such people in a family store like this.
What a nice surprise, super clean with ample parking. Everything they advertised on sale they had and the staff was extremely helpful. We will definitely be back.
Great prices and clean store I love shopping here when I need my groceries.. The only thing I dislike about the place is all the cashier's have no conversation with you while checking out or smiles on their faces they all look like they hate their jobs... No smiles on their faces while walking in the store... Scales are never calibrated right in produce section I went to get some pecans for Thanksgiving and weighed a pound and when I got to the front to cash out it was way more the weight and the cashier told me they were all messed up and never weight right..I love the coupons wish it was a lil better but hey it's ok but customer service is a big thing that needs working on in this store
The cashier was very friendly. She showed us how to set up the app and get the specials. The store was very clean.
