Forever New Orleans is a gift shop at 606 Royal St in New Orleans, Louisiana, for visitors looking to bring home a keepsake or find a gift with a local feel. The selection includes familiar souvenirs such as magnets, T-shirts, and shot glasses, alongside less expected finds. The shop’s range can suit travelers shopping for friends and family as well as locals who enjoy browsing for something to give—or keep.

Rather than focusing on only one kind of item, Forever New Orleans brings together several themed collections. Reviewers call out a large Mardi Gras section, plus a garden area and a bee-themed selection that includes honey-bee-inspired items. These details make the store worth exploring at an unhurried pace: one visit might be for a practical souvenir, while another could turn up a decorative accent or a small personal gift. The assortment includes both recognizable New Orleans mementos and items shoppers describe as more distinctive, though the available selection may vary.

The atmosphere is described as a cute, browse-friendly store with a variety of things to look through. Some customers appreciate the curation and say they have found beautiful gifts there over the years; one reviewer specifically praises owner Lisa’s eye for selecting merchandise. Feedback about service is not entirely uniform: several shoppers describe employees as nice, while another reports an unfriendly interaction. The overall listing rating is 4.3 out of 5 from 13 reviews, offering a helpful snapshot while individual visits may differ.

Located on Royal Street, Forever New Orleans can fit naturally into a day of shopping in the city. It is a good option for visitors who want magnets, apparel, or glassware, and for shoppers hoping to find jewelry, scarves, garden-themed pieces, or Mardi Gras keepsakes in the same store. The address is 606 Royal St, New Orleans, LA 70130. The shop is listed as open Monday through Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.; checking current hours before visiting is sensible. Whether you are choosing a small token of your trip or browsing for a gift, the mix of familiar souvenirs and varied decorative finds gives you several directions to explore.

Nothing extraordinary here, but if you're like me and are looking to add to your collection of souvenir magnets or shot glasses, this is a good option for finding something that isn't mass-produced garbage.

This is a great set of stores! Each location is slightly different. All the employees are so nice. The owner, Lisa, does an incredible job of curating wonderful items.

We walked around looking for something different to bring back as souvenirs and wandered into Forever New Orleans. They had a lot of the repeat times: magnets, shirts, shot glasses, etc but there were also several different things. There were some lovely scarves, handmade jewelry and home knick knacks. Would up finding a cute Dixie pair of earrings ($10) for my Mother and a Jazz joint fitted tee ($18) was intended for my Father but my Mother made hers instead. LOL. She loved the fit and bright red shirt.

I’ve been shopping at this store for years and always find something beautiful to either give as a gift or selfishly keep for myself. The garden section is my favorite because of all the pretties and the bee section, because who doesn’t love honey bees? There’s also a large Mardi Gras section that has lovely collectibles and fun clothes. I also love supporting a female owned, small local business.

Clerk by the name of Keleaph was very rude! Very cute store but too bad you have unfriendly clerks.
