Gabriel G Miranda MD is a family practice physician located in Fremont, California, at 34167 Fremont Blvd, Fremont, CA 94555. For people looking for a primary-care doctor in Fremont, this practice is presented as an option for individual and family health needs. Its public listing shows a 3.5-star rating based on 8 reviews, which offers a small but useful view of patient experiences. The information supplied does not include office hours, so prospective patients should confirm appointment scheduling and current availability directly with the practice. For patients changing primary-care providers or comparing local options, confirming insurance participation and new-patient procedures can also help make the next step clearer.
Family medicine can be especially valuable when patients want an ongoing doctor who understands changing needs over time. In the reviews provided, multiple patients describe Dr. Miranda as knowledgeable, caring, kind, and able to answer questions. One reviewer says he has cared for their family and other East Bay families for decades, while another credits the doctor with knowing the medical and health help they and their spouse needed. These comments point to a practice that some established patients value for familiar, relationship-based care. They also reflect personal experiences rather than a guarantee of the same outcome for every patient. The shared focus in these positive accounts is attentive care for ongoing family health concerns.
The feedback also suggests that communication and personal fit matter when choosing Gabriel G Miranda MD. Several reviewers describe the interpersonal atmosphere as caring and approachable: one cites staff they found helpful and caring, and another praises Dr. Miranda as personable as well as knowledgeable. A separate reviewer, however, reports feeling dismissed during a first visit involving an older father who was transitioning between primary-care providers after an insurance change. Since the reviews offer differing viewpoints and are limited in number, patients may want to consider their own medical priorities, insurance situation, and questions for a new provider. This balanced perspective is important for anyone comparing a family practice physician in Fremont, particularly during a transfer of care.
When specialist input is needed, one patient specifically praises Dr. Miranda's referral network, saying it includes experts affiliated with Stanford and UCSF. That is an individual review rather than a complete description of referral arrangements, but it may be relevant to patients who expect coordination beyond primary care. Gabriel G Miranda MD is situated on Fremont Boulevard in Fremont and is a local option to consider for family-oriented primary care. It may be a fit for patients who value a long-term primary-care relationship, clear answers to questions, and discussions about referrals. The available feedback also shows that initial-visit experiences can vary.

Sign in to reviewMy 78 yr old father whose health is quickly declining got caught in between Primary care providers during an insurance switch. We were automatically assigned to Dr Miranda. Our first visit Dr Miranda was very dismissive and didn’t want to even go over my father’s charts or listen to what we needed done. He interrupted me and put his hand up and said “we’re not going to take care of all your father’s problems”. He was rude and short with us, and seemed like he didn’t want to get involved. Before this appointment my father was hospitalized and the hospital doctor switched his meds from Gabapentin to Lyrica. Lyrica is a very strong controlled substance, one that needs tapering down. You can’t just stop taking it otherwise it could send my father to the hospital with severe withdrawal symptoms. Dr Miranda doesn’t seem to care and refused giving any refills!! He instead suggests going to a clinic. This is malpractice. He should lose his license and ability to call himself a doctor. Dr Miranda is very old, can’t seem to keep all his very archaic paperwork system in order, very rude and should give up the business. Patients beware!!
Dr. Miranda is the finest doctor for whom I've ever been a patient. He is extremely knowledgeable, very caring and quite a fun person. His expertise is vast and his network of experts that he refers you to when needed is simply amazing - many are professors at Stanford and UCSF, are listed on Best Doctor lists in their specialties - like him they're the very best anywhere. My family has been going to him for years and will continue to as long as he's in practice and we live in the area. His office not accepting debit or credit cards is not a big deal for us, his staff's service is top notch.
Dr. Miranda is an excellent doctor. He is knowledgeable and caring. He has been taking care of my family and so many other families in the East Bay for decades. If he is your doctor, you can be sure that you are in good hands.
