For locals and visitors exploring Little Saigon, it is a practical stop for Vietnamese noodle dishes in a busy part of the city. With a 4.3 rating from more than 400 reviews, Ghien Mi Go is known as a place people often visit for lunch or a casual meal during the day. The restaurant is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and closed on Thursday, making it easy to remember for regular weekday and weekend dining.

What stands out most at Ghien Mi Go is its focus on Vietnamese noodle soups and dry noodle dishes. Customer reviews repeatedly mention the yellow noodle dry option, especially #10 yellow noodle dry served with the house special sauce and a small bowl of soup on the side. Diners also call out the yellow noodle soup #19 and Hủ Tiếu Nước Thập Cẩm, showing that the menu attracts people looking for classic Vietnamese noodle flavors rather than a one-item specialty shop. Based on reviews, the food here is often described as authentic and flavorful, with the dry noodle preparations getting especially positive attention for their sauce and texture. Some guests note that portions can feel smaller than expected, especially with dry-style orders, but the dishes themselves remain a key reason people return.

The atmosphere at Ghien Mi Go comes across as clean, bustling, and warm. Several customers describe the dining room as crowded during lunch, which helps set expectations for anyone planning a midday visit in Westminster. That steady traffic suggests it is a familiar choice for people in the area, whether they are meeting family, grabbing a quick weekday meal, or stopping by after shopping nearby on Bolsa Avenue. One reviewer specifically mentioned easy parking directly in front of the restaurant, a small but useful detail for diners navigating a busy commercial neighborhood. Inside, the space has been described as cute and inviting, with a comfortable setup for both solo diners and small groups.

Service is another point that comes up often in reviews of Ghien Mi Go. Guests mention being greeted promptly, seated without much trouble outside peak rush times, and receiving food fairly quickly once orders are placed. Staff are described as courteous and efficient, which matters in a restaurant that can get packed around lunch. For students, workers on a meal break, families in the area, or anyone looking for a straightforward Vietnamese restaurant in Westminster, California, that combination of quick service and a focused noodle menu can be especially appealing. If you prefer a quieter meal, arriving a little after the lunch rush may offer a more relaxed experience while still enjoying the same menu.

For people searching for Vietnamese food in Westminster, CA, Ghien Mi Go offers clear, easy-to-understand strengths: a convenient Bolsa Avenue location, daily hours except Thursday, popular noodle dishes, and an atmosphere that feels active and local. It may be best suited for diners who specifically want Vietnamese noodles such as yellow noodle dry, yellow noodle soup, or Hủ Tiếu Nước Thập Cẩm, and who appreciate a restaurant with real neighborhood traffic rather than a formal dining setting. While reviews show mixed opinions on portion size, they also make it clear that Ghien Mi Go remains a recognized stop for authentic Vietnamese comfort food in Westminster. For anyone building a list of Vietnamese-owned restaurants to try in Orange County, this is a useful place to know.

We went here for lunch and it was packed. We had to wait a few minutes to be greeted and seated. The restaurant was clean and bustling. Our orders came out pretty quickly and portions were a bit disappointing if you order it dry style with a side of soup. I wish there were a bit more noodles for the Large portion that I ordered. Maybe if I ordered it as a noodle soup, it might have been better. Will have to return to try it again in that option. A lot of people were ordering the beef bones.

Authentic Vietnamese food. We order #10 yellow noodle dry with their special sauce tossed in the noodle and a small bowl ò soup on the side. It was so tasty!!! We also order the yellow noodle soup #19. The service was great, the workers were prompt and courteous! Definitely coming back for more!

I stopped by for the first time this afternoon a little after the lunch hour to avoid the rush. Easy parking - literally in front of the restaurant. I was greeted right when I walked in - no wait for party of 1. The environment is cute - the interior is warm and inviting. There's both regular tables and booths - which I prefer - since it sorta defines your personal space. The menu is simple - two pages - food on the front, drinks/dessert on the back. I was trying to decide between the Com Ga Hai Nam, or the Bun Bo Hue - went with the BBH when I found out the steamed chicken is served cold. Servers are friendly. I had just enough time to browse the menu and decide on what to get before someone came to take my order. They brought out my veggie/condiment plate shortly after my order. Soda Chanh - I knocked off a star for this since the drink was flat! There is a Vietnamese drink that is also called Da Chanh - which is fresh lemon squeezed water - but I definitely didn't order that one, since my Soda Chanh had a few bubbles in it initially. There was some hint of carbonation - but it was otherwise flat! Definitely was not refreshing at all. If I wanted boring water, I would've ordered tea or still water. The Bun Bo Hue though on the other hand - was awesome! Literally one of the better BBH's I've eaten in the area. I requested it without the cubed blood "pudding" - but kept the pork feet. Normally I order BBH without the blood and the feet, but I didn't want to deprive myself of protein in case they wouldn't sub the removed items with anything else. There was a good ratio of protein to noodles - but the broth was perfect. It had just the right amount of seasoning - spices, lemongrass to it. Protein wise - there were meatballs, beef shank, pork hock, and tendon. Generous cuts of tendon. It was amazing! Tendon is one of my favorite Vietnamese noodle soup toppings - and Ghien Mi Go did not disappoint. There were cuts of tendon that was just right (tendon can be overcooked/undercooked). The noodles were thick - like typical BBH noodles - thicker than pho noodles, but thinner than banh canh (udon) noodles. All of this, with the rich and flavorful broth base - made for an awesome bowl. My lunch was almost perfect. The flat soda chanh was a bit disappointing, but I'll either ask them whether there's a fresher soda water available - or just pick another drink to get. Service was great - I had a brief chat with the owner when I paid. Her colleague mentioned that the com ga can be served cold or warmed up (at the customer's discretion) - so I'll know for next time when I come to visit - and I definitely plan to come back in the very near future.

I’m not sure why this restaurant is always so crowded. I came here for lunch and the place was packed. I ordered the Hủ Tiếu Nước Thập Cẩm, and it was nothing special. The portion was disappointing, with very few toppings, mostly just a lot of broth and noodles! The cơm gà wasn’t good either. Usually, at other places, cơm gà comes with fried rice that has a nice golden color, good aroma, and well balanced seasoning. But here, they served plain white rice , lacking flavor, I’m not enjoyable. The chicken was also dry. At $19.45, I felt very overpriced for what I got. The restaurant was clean, but extremely noisy because it was so crowded. Service was fast, though. Parking was also easy to find when I visited.

I feel the bowl is smaller. I noticed the difference than when I was here before. Restaurants keep reducing meal portions and yet the price stay the same pr more. I didn’t eat here as often and now less after this. Only due to a childhood memory but overall nothing special here as far as taste especially the combination is just not like how Mi Go supposed to be. I can only eat one type here which is Mi Go only. Seriously bad !!!!!!! Hue Ky is the best place in Bolsa now for Mì with price matching portion size and quality taste.
