Golden Chick

If you want to feel like your business is not wanted, this should be your first stop. I walked in about 6:45 this evening only to just stand at the register while one girl just leaned on the counter by the pick up window with her phone out just texting away while a boy with a headset on totally locked on his phone, oblivious to the fact a paying customer had walked in. Finally the girl looked up and said, what do you need, in what I considered sarcastic, not hello, not welcome to golden chick, nothing to make you feel welcome. My response to her was pretty simple, I said, what I need to do is leave so you can continue playing on your phone. And walked out, luckily for me I had driven past a Chicken Express on my way, went there and was greeted when I walked in and thanked for coming in when my order was handed to me. Of the four employees I saw at Chicken Express, none were playing on their phones and were actually working. I think I will continue stopping there. Golden chick, great idea to allow your employees to play on their phones while working.

Don't come here. First Good luck understanding the drive through employees. The speaker is fine. They mumble and when you tell them you're hard of hearing they don't speak up. Second they have horrible attitudes. I get their people but I work in food service. It doesn't hurt to be polite. I don't even care if its with a smile. The tone of the window person makes me feel uncomfortable. I don't think I'll be back for a while. 3rd. My food was not hot. The Mac and cheese looked/tasted old and was about 3 spoon fulls. Not the correct amount of tenders ether 1 order had 5 pieces. The tea was vary old. Tasted like it had mold in it.

I wish I'd a seen previous ratings for this place. Not very good food. Bakes Chicken wasn't to bad but the coleslaw had no flavor, the okra was hard (breading) and bread was cold. Reconsider coming here. I hope they make some changes because I've been alot of these resturants and they've all been really good. Don't know what's going on here.

Dude seriously! I just literally ordered the new lemon pepper wings from this location and they gave me my entire order wrong! I’m also missing my extra sides I asked for! I got the spicy wings instead of Lemon pepper, not to mention a 10-15 min wait on my food! So upset because now they are closed so I can’t go back!

Just left the drive thru, ordered a 6 piece combo. Asked to purchase two additional rolls. Girl comes back and says we are all out of rolls and would need 10 min to bake them. I stayed quiet for a second and she came back and said, “I mean you will get one with your meal but I can’t sell you any others I only have enough for combos, Sorry.” Apparently you can’t order additional items separate from the combo. Drove 20 min to not be allowed to buy something at a food spot. Why have it on the menu to not honor it? What is this world coming to. Rolls? Come on team, do better.
