Golden Nail Bar

I have come here four times now, and had a good experience the first two times- basic pedicure and a gel mani with Lori and another girl. The third time I came, I got gel on my finger nails, and on the second day, it peeled and chipped. I knew during the manicure it was not going well and kept asking questions, because she painted them to look like the paint had already grown out, and I was not happy about it. I came back and got the chipped nail fixed and went ahead and got a pedicure while I was there with the matching polish to my nails. Jessica did my pedicure and did a good job on the actual pedi massage, but the paint job was horrendous. I can paint my own nails better than this. I told them while I was there how bad the paint was, but I didn’t have time to stay for another 30+ minutes for them to fix it. No offer of a refund or discount. So, I said I would be back the next day for them to fix it, but I got called to a birth and was gone all day. It is now the day after and five more nails are chipped from the gel. I don’t even do anything crazy with my hands, or hand wash excessively. I’ve never had a gel mani be so bad. I don’t have time to keep coming back to get things fixed and I don’t have money to just throw away- it’s a special treat for me to be able to come. And even if I did have money to do it all the time, that wouldn’t change the fact that this was a bad experience. Won’t be back, unfortunately.

I have been searching for a good nail salon and I am so glad I found Golden Nail Bar! The salon itself is so clean and spacious. They are consistent with their service as well. Both Lori and Amy give amazing pedicures. Kay is also great! All my interactions with staff have been lovely. They are friendly and make you feel comfortable. They also offer a wide range of services, so you can get more than one service done. I cannot recommend enough- you will not be disappointed!

Best Ever! They treat you like family :). I have been coming for a while for nails and toes BUT today I also had a “head spa” treatment and I can’t believe I’ve never done it. It was amazing and I will definitely do it again soon.
