Greg Bailey Automotive

Greg Bailey Automotive is an auto repair shop in Tampa, Florida, at 3712 N Florida Ave, Tampa, FL 33603. Customer accounts describe a shop where clear explanations and an honest approach matter as much as getting the repair done. Whether you need attention for a specific issue or want a mechanic to assess a vehicle, the reviews point to straightforward communication and a willingness to look at the problem before recommending a next step. The business has a 4.8-star rating from 123 reviews, reflecting experiences shared by local customers and people arranging inspections from farther away.

Brake service is one repair customers specifically mention. One reviewer brought in a 2019 Ford Fusion for a rear brake job and described the repair as fairly priced, timely, and readily arranged. Other customers discuss bringing in vehicles that were running rough and asking Greg to check what was going on after another garage could not proceed with a repair. These accounts suggest that Greg Bailey Automotive may be a useful place to contact when you need help understanding a vehicle concern, including when the cause is not immediately clear. The reviews emphasize being told what was found in plain language rather than being pressured.

The shop has also helped with pre-purchase inspections in Tampa. Reviewers describe arranging an inspection for a car they were considering buying, including one buyer coordinating the process from Missouri while purchasing a vehicle from a distance. Another reviewer, who owns a dealership, appreciated the shop’s willingness to inspect a customer’s prospective purchase without charging for the time. These individual experiences are not a promise that every inspection will be free, but they do offer a sense of the helpfulness and consideration customers have encountered. For people shopping for a used car, an inspection can be a practical way to get an independent look before making a decision.

Greg Bailey Automotive is open Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and closed Saturday and Sunday, according to its listed hours.
