We love visiting H Mart! They have such a great variety of fresh produce, freshly made foods and meals. They have so many Asian products including groceries, snacks, drinks, and home good like dishes and cooking utensils.
H Mart in Aurora is one of those places that has everything your little heart can desire. Seriously. If you’ve ever seen something online and wondered where to find it, it’s probably here. From fresh fruits and vegetables to seafood, hot food, snacks, drinks, and all kinds of ingredients, the selection is insane. It’s not just a Korean market either, it’s very much an international market with a huge variety of foods from different countries, which makes it even better. They’ve got those viral items you always see online too, like the fruit shaped ice creams and those dangerously good Vietnamese coffees that should come with a warning label. You go in curious and leave slightly addicted. It’s honestly just a fun place to shop. You can walk around forever discovering new things, and every aisle has something that makes you stop and go “okay wait… I need to try this.” I love this place. I’m a little obsessed, not even going to lie. Every time I’m in the Denver area, I have to stop by… and every time, I somehow spend way more money than I planned. Totally worth it.
I just wanted to shop and stopped by their cafeteria for a meal, but I deeply regret eating there. The elderly female cashier was incredibly unfriendly; she answered rudely and shoved the payment machine toward me like someone completely lacking in manners. I was deeply hurt and truly regret having eaten there.
My favorite place to get my asian groceries and food weekly. They have everything that I need to cook asian home made meals. If you want to make oxtail soup at home, their oxtails are better than other American grocery stores because they have less fat and more meats, not sure how, maybe from a different type of cows 🐮 I’d buy the Korean ready foods they have there, bulgogi ribs, and the fried chicken are my favorite. They also sells the drinks and ice in a cup that you can mix yourself just like the convenience stores in Seoul.
This place is huge! And the vegetables look so fresh! And the Chaton Bakery with free flow milk tea is a bonus!
