About

H Mart Brookline is listed on FindALoco in Brookline, MA with address, phone, website, hours, and map location. Common services and related keywords include Asian Grocery Store.

H Mart Brookline is an Asian grocery store at 1028 Beacon St in Brookline, MA, serving shoppers looking for Korean and other Asian groceries close to home, work, or their daily errands. Customer reviews describe a fine selection of South Korean goods, fresh vegetables, meat, fish, ramen, snacks, and prepared or frozen Korean foods. The store is open every day of the week, Monday through Sunday, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., making it a practical option for planned grocery trips as well as picking up a few ingredients after work. Its Brookline location is also noted by customers as convenient for people who work nearby.

Shoppers mention fresh-tasting vegetables, a variety of meat cuts, and fish among the reasons they return. The selection also includes Korean side dishes, frozen Korean dishes, and a wide choice of ramen, alongside snacks that are easy to grab and go. For anyone planning a meal at home, these grocery staples offer options for building a shopping basket around familiar favorites or trying something different. Reviews also note fair prices, though each shopper’s experience will depend on the products they choose. H Mart Brookline is a grocery store, not a restaurant, so customers looking for a sit-down meal or extensive ready-to-eat choices should plan accordingly.

Several reviewers describe the store as smaller or more limited than H Mart locations in Burlington and Quincy, particularly for some Korean goods and a self-serve Korean barbecue meat section. That context can help set expectations: the Brookline store offers a neighborhood grocery selection, but it may not carry every item or feature available at larger branches. At the same time, shoppers say the interior feels more spacious than its exterior might suggest. Its unusual shape can make the layout less intuitive for first-time visitors, so allowing a little time to find products and the checkout may make a first visit easier.

With a customer rating of 4.1 from 307 reviews, H Mart Brookline may suit local residents, nearby workers, and anyone in Brookline looking for South Korean groceries, produce, meat, fish, ramen, snacks, or frozen foods in one store. It can be especially useful for shoppers who value fresh vegetables and a range of Korean pantry and meal ingredients, while those seeking a larger selection may want to compare nearby H Mart branches. Before visiting, note the address at 1028 Beacon St, Brookline, MA 02446, and the consistent daily hours of 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. The range and availability of particular items can vary, so checking in person is the best way to see what is on the shelves.

Fine selection of South Korean goods and produce. Wished there were more instant/convenient prepared food options but I understand that this was a grocery store and not a restaurant. Thank you for being one of the few stores that were opened on Christmas Day.

H Mart Brookline is a great addition to the other Asian supermarkets within the Brookline area. This H Mart is significantly limited compared to the Burlington and Quincy ones, lacking a self-serve KBBQ meat section as well as limited options for other Korean goods. Despite this, they still have a lot of Korean and Asian goods, such as Sashimi, Banchan, and other goods needed to create Korean dishes. Another lacking area is the lack of a food court in this location, although they do sell premade meals such as pastries and onigiri here.

I love shopping here because it's located conveniently near where I work, has very fresh vegetables that always taste great, fair prices, excellent meat and fish, and a wide variety of delicious snacks to grab and go. Small but never too …

I usually go to Burlington h-mart, but could not resist when we were in Brookline to check it out. From outside, I thought it was a "baby" h-mart but it turned to be quite specious inside. The odd shape makes it easy to get lost. It took me a while to find my way to the check out counter.

I like it. It has many side dishes and frozen korean dishes. Big choice of Ramen too. I like meats (variety parts) well divided.
