Located in Arlington's Pioneer Parkway area, the market is a practical stop for households stocking a pantry, preparing Mediterranean-inspired meals, or seeking ingredients that may be harder to find at a conventional supermarket. Its broad focus on imported and international groceries makes it relevant for everyday shopping as well as more specific recipe needs.

Reviews mention international foods and Mediterranean food supplies, suggesting that shoppers can browse beyond basic staples and discover products for different cuisines. Specific items noted by customers include roasted eggplant, grape leaves, and loose-leaf tea. As with any grocery purchase, shoppers may wish to inspect packaging and dates, confirm prices and bagged items at checkout, and choose products that fit their own preferences.

For Arlington residents and visitors, Halal Import Food Market offers a local option for halal groceries and international pantry shopping without leaving the city. It may be especially useful for people searching for Mediterranean ingredients, tea, prepared or jarred specialty foods, and a wider range of imported products than a standard neighborhood grocery store. The market is open Monday through Saturday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, providing convenient evening hours for after-work errands or weekend food shopping. Whether you are replenishing basics or exploring ingredients for your next meal, this Arlington grocery store is worth considering for its international selection.

People coming to halal store that we will find halal food and real food, today I bought this with lots of hopes that this will be the real taste with lots of nuts, as I open the cap all around they decorate it with nuts but inside they fill it with peanut and sunflower seeds, I really sham on these type of Muslims!!

We appreciated how clean and organized the store was. Their roasted eggplant and grape leaves were priced very reasonably. They also had great prices on their loose leaf tea. For years we have shopped for our Mediterranean food supplies at the World Food Warehouse in Dallas. Shopping at Halal Import Food Market was a much more ENJOYABLE experience. We will be back.

I got food poisoning because they don’t know how to store their food at safe temperatures and they keep it on the shelf long after it’s expired. Also there must be a sewage leak because every single time my wife has dragged me here it’s smelled like the aftermath of aforementioned food poisoning. I hope it’s just a sewage leak.

The only thing “halal” about this store is how the cashier steals from you. Be very careful when checking your purchases, especially when dealing with the young and short cashier who works there. She was friendly and smiling, but several items I paid for were never placed in my bag and were kept behind the counter. I did not realize until I got home that multiple items I purchased were missing, even though I was charged for them. Always double-check your receipt and make sure every item is actually placed in your bag before leaving the store. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I will not be returning.
