We don’t shop here regularly but it definitely fills a niche spot in our repertoire. Excellent prepared Korean side dishes and ready to cook marinated meats. They also have high quality pork and good seafood. Large variety of reasonable veggies as well. Parking is generally tight and the ingress and exit onto El Camino is a pain, especially if you need to head north. However, for Korean delicacies, definitely a winner.

Vegan-friendly — check out some of the pictures I made on the fly. You can buy big jars of vegetarian kimchi (without anchovies/shrimps) for a much cheaper price! Cute dish ware, some household items, personal care items and even Korean skin care.

I bought a 3-liter glass jar from here for $9. As soon as I poured hot water into it for pickling, the jar shattered instantly, destroying all my ingredients. When I tried to return the defective product, the cashier refused to provide a refund. Very disappointed with the poor product quality and the lack of customer service. Do not buy glassware from this store

Clean and spacious. Large variety of Korean groceries. The meats look high quality. The live fish tanks were empty. I bought a pack of uni sashimi. Even though it showed “packed today”, the uni tasted fishy and smelled slightly stinky. Definitely won’t be buying that again. The salmon sashimi didn’t taste super fresh but was decent fresh. They have two types of packaging. The one that has a whole piece where you have to cut into slices yourself is a lot less expensive than the box with pre-cut slices. I was able to find a pack of beef short ribs without large pieces of fat inside. Note that the un-marinated short ribs are slightly more expensive than the pre-marinated ones, probably because only the un-marinated ones are USDA Choice. It’s very easy to grill these at home. Each side only takes a few minutes. I just used salt and pepper to season it. Tasted very chewy. Looking forward to tasting the frozen noodle lunchboxes!
