Hawkers Asian Street Food

Food: Ordered the Hong Kong Wonton and the Curry Laksa Ramen. Both had a nice flavor to the broth and the noodles were cooked nicely; however, the wrapper on the wontons were thicker than I’d prefer, and the portions were relatively small. Service: No complaints! Came for dinner on a Friday evening, and there was no wait—my partner and I were immediately seated, and our food came out soon after our order was taken. Ambiance: Casual, modern, street stall vibe. Parking: Ample parking. Located in a plaza.

Finally made it to Hawkers in Addison and honestly loved the whole vibe. The neon lights, dim lighting, and overall atmosphere make it such a fun spot for dinner and drinks. Definitely one of those places that feels energetic without trying too hard. The food was really solid too. We tried a bunch of the new menu items and everything had a lot of flavor without feeling too heavy. New menu items: 🥘 Roti Murtabak — the curry was so tasty 🥗 Beef Salad — reminded me of a Vietnamese twist on a tartare 🍜 Spice Lamb Udon — a tad spicy but still really good 🍚 Nasi Lemak was probably the most unique dish we tried 🍹 Pho For 2 cocktail Also love that they’re serving soju now 🍶 The sticky ribs are still the OG favorite though, along with the beef flat noodles. If you go, both are a must order. Overall just a really good spot for sharing plates, drinks, and hanging out with friends. Would definitely come back.

Had the best time at Hawkers Asian Street Food! Christian was super chill and made the whole experience feel easy. The drinks were so good—dangerously good, honestly. The food was amazing, and the kimchi fried rice was a standout favorite—I’m still thinking about it. We even ended up playing Uno, which somehow made the night even more fun and perfectly matched the laid-back, high-energy vibe. Also… can we talk about the bathroom?? I’m obsessed. Coolest bathroom vibes ever, which somehow perfectly matched the overall atmosphere. Great food, great drinks, great energy. Will absolutely be back 🍜🍹✨

Very street-sy vibe, mellow pop/ hip hop music. Nice place to take a date or group of friends casually. Malaysian Roti canai: $9.50 - Flaky soft and rich roti top of the line. Curry was not impressive but solid pair allowing roti top shine. - I wouldnt spend more than $5 on this if I had to choose Basil fried rice: 11 - Not very fragrant. A little oily. I asked for spice level 7/10 and got 3/10 - I prefer a variety of flavor texture and spice in my basil fried rice(crunchy and sweet peppers, deep Smokey rice, hot peppers, fresh basil taste, chewy egg, etc), this bowl was monotone and while mealy, sort of just tastes like it was seasoned with salt, this wouldn’t be something I purchase over an in n out burger. - I would not pay for this meal. Chili vanili: $10 - Before: I am excited. Roti with chili, sesame peanut sauce, vanilla ice cream and crushed peanuts - Was waiting around a while for it waiter forgot to add it in order, but she gave it to me on the house. + for Customer consideration - This was a fun dish. Crunch from the Mild spice and peanuts, chew from the roti, smooth ice cream. Not too strong peanuty flavor; playfully popped around in here and there. - Deep flavors and felt filling making sure you leave satiated, and with a memorable taste on your tongue. - I’d pay $8 for this. Our first time visiting this cute Pan-Asian restaurant in Addison. First, I absolutely loved the decor. We were very excited to see the multiple food options especially Korean because I’ve been craving it for a while. We started with the Korean fried wings and they were remarkable. The drinks were watered down a bit. My husband loved his entrée with the noodles, but my udon noodles were OK. There was not enough protein or veggies in the dish. There were not many options for desserts. The service was good. The area gets busy and parking could be an issue, especially on the weekends.
