I cannot express enough gratitude to Health Flex Home Care and Hospice at Home Agency. When my grandmother became bedridden, the task of meeting her needs seemed insurmountable until we found the incredible team at Health Flex. Their expertise, responsiveness, and unwavering availability were a lifeline during a challenging time. The kindness, compassion, and exceptional training of their team members truly stood out. They didn't just provide care; they showed genuine love and concern for my grandmother's well-being. Prior to choosing Health Flex, I was unaware of the invaluable support that hospice at home could offer Alzheimer's patients like my grandmother. Health Flex opened my eyes to the possibilities and benefits of this service, providing not only medical assistance but also emotional support for both my grandmother, my mom and our family. I want to extend my deepest thanks to Health Flex for the exceptional care they provide to my grandmother. Special thanks go to Director of Operations Rea, Visiting RN Kelly, Visiting LVN Natasha, Nursing Assistant Jenny, and the entire team under the outstanding leadership of Irene Gertsikov. Health Flex Home Care and Hospice at Home Agency truly went above and beyond, and my family and I are forever grateful for their dedication and compassion.

Terrible communication! My father was in hospice for 7 days. We had a nurse arrive on day two and did not see one for the rest of his life. We received the supply boxes 36 hours after his passing. We placed no less than 7 calls that were never returned. The admittance nurse(John) and the above mentioned nurse (Mark) were very kind, we just never saw anyone afterwards.

I also have talked to Serena many times and she is kind and professional. Also, nurse Barbara went above and beyond and even delivered herself some diapers to my terminally ill mother. However, my mother only survived 3 days at home after she came from the hospital and during those 3 days at home, I had to constantly be on the phone calling the 24/7 line, trying to make sure she had her pain medication. It was a nightmare. The main reason we contracted Health Flex was cause we wanted to have someone that knows how to handle her pain management. Lisa from Heath Flex contacted me on the phone several times before we contracted Healthflex. She was kind, professional and seemed to care about the families of those terminally ill. She promised that Heath flex were experts in managing pain control. She promised mother medicines will be Home already before she arrived so she wouldn’t have to be in pain like in the hospital. She promised doses could be adjusted right away and nurses could do it themselves without a doctors permission like in the hospital. Lisa was very specific like this, since I mentioned it took too long for doctors to approve dosage changes, and that my mother was in horrible pain while this happened. Lisa promised this was not going to happen with HealthFlex.WHAT LISA SAID WAS MISLEADING AND NOT TRUE. I MADE SURE I TEXTED THIS TO LISA. HEALTH FLEX HOSPICE NURSES NEED.TO HAVE DOCTORS APPROVAL TO CHANGE MORPHINE DOSAGES. AND DOCTORS APPROVAL TAKES A LONG TIME, AND YOUR FAMILY MEMBER WILL BE IN PAIN WHILE THESE CHANGES HAPPEN. ITS JUST LIKE THE HOSPITAL. this is the way the system works. Nurses cannot do anything about it. They try and hurry but cannot fulfill what Lisa promises families patients. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING WAS TO CONTROL MY MOTHERS PAIN AND IN THE 3 DAYS SHE WAS AT HOME THIS DINT HAPPEN. my brothers had to call at night to increase her dosage twice and I had to be on the phone constantly trying to make sure mother had her pain meds and lidocaine patches that arrived after she died, not to mention that the day before she died, I called early morning to request a change in morphine dosage and later in the afternoon when mother was pulling her hair in pain, two hours later the dosage change was finally approved. INFORMATION GIVEN BY LISA WAS MISLEADING. SHE WAS NICE AND ANSWERED QUESTIONS BEFORE SERVICES WERE CONTRACTED. WHEN PROBLEMS STARTED SHE ANSWERED IN THE BEGINNING , THEN SHE JUST STOPPED ANSWERING EVEN AFTER PROBLEMS WERE NOT BEING SOLVED BY 24/7 HOSPICE LINE. IT SEEMS SHE WAS JUST NICE TO GET A CUSTOMER.
