Today was our second visit to Hem Street Food and my partner and I were delighted to be welcomed once again by Jessica. We went ahead and ordered the pork skewers, grilled shrimp, and pork cheek dishes again and they were every bit as delicious as before. We decided to try a couple of new dishes—the fried fish ball combo and honey pork ribs—and enjoyed them both. Although the pork ribs could use a bit more flavor, the generous portion size was definitely a plus. We absolutely enjoy the atmosphere at Hem. The food is outstanding and the service is friendly and attentive. This is quickly becoming one of our favorite spots to eat at and we will be returning very soon.

First time we came to here, food was good, parking is plenty, good location but the only thing is the restaurant is blocked by the front building so u can see it much, only on the side, hope this restaurant is getting more business and more people know about it, I only found out about this one on social media

✅ The cafe has a very Vietnamese atmosphere, cheerful, decorated with lanterns, and plays Vietnamese pop music. ✅ Diverse menu of snacks. ✅ They give away mooncakes to customers during the Mid-Autumn Festival. ✅ The staff are friendly and attentive, but if they want a more stable customer base and smoother operation, I think they should add more staff in the outdoor area. Some customers have to reach out and wait because there's no one around. Other snack shops are gradually adding more staff too 😉 ✅ A bottle of chili sauce is readily available on the table for customers. I was surprised by this, as it's better than many pho restaurants, and it's a high-quality Vietnamese chili sauce too. ❗️The pomelo dessert should be more carefully prepared or not sold at all if they don't specialize in desserts, because both the quality and the presentation of the dessert bowl aren't very appealing. The sweet corn is delicious, but the duck embryo sauce is a bit too salty, the sweet and sour flavors aren't quite right, and it lacks peanuts. I haven't had a chance to try many other dishes because I mostly go to these places after dinner, so I'm quite full 😂 📍They should redesign the cups, maybe add a logo or change the size, something like that to attract more people to take photos. 📍Because the space is small and there aren't many tables, anyone who smokes e-cigarettes won't be able to avoid it. I wish the restaurant will grow even more because this model is necessary for Vietnamese people in the US 😄
