HER Nail Bar

It was my first time in after the rebrand! The salon was spotless as usual, and I was taken to start my service right away (I was there about 10am). My nail technician, Katie, was extremely gentle and attentive. Very thorough and did an excellent job. I was in a sorry state when I walked in, and I left looking and feeling glamorous! I have booked my next pedicure already and will be continuing to drive from my home in Garland just for their excellent service! Highly recommend!!!

I’ve been coming to this nail salon for over a year now, and it never disappoints. The facility is always spotless, and the attention to detail is unmatched—you can really tell they care about their work. Every single staff member is friendly, welcoming, and professional, which makes each visit such a great experience. Lena is my absolute favorite—she’s incredibly talented, consistent, and always makes sure my nails are perfect. I wouldn’t trust my nails anywhere else. Highly recommend!

I usually do not write reviews, and I am not someone who feels comfortable posting negative feedback. In fact, this is my first time ever writing a review. However, I felt so disappointed after my experience that I believe it is important to share it so others are aware. I am not speaking about every employee, but I do want to share how I was personally treated at Luxx Nail Bar. I visited for my very first nail extension appointment. Before arriving, I called to confirm they accepted walk-ins, and they said yes. At the front desk, I explained that it was my first time getting nails done and asked for guidance. I was told to do dip with extensions and was informed of the price. I also confirmed there was no waiting time. The technician assigned to me suggested switching to gel instead of dip. When I asked about the price difference, I was told it would be the same cost. However, he started working on my nails without adding extensions, which is what I had clearly requested. During the process, I was hurt multiple times with the drill machine, and my skin started bleeding. When he asked if it hurt, I said yes. When I asked about the extensions after one hand was done, he became upset, pushed his tools aside, said he would not continue my service, and walked away abruptly. I was left waiting while staff discussed the situation among themselves in another language, and it felt like no one wanted to take over my service. Eventually, the same technician returned and immediately resumed working. The rest of the service felt rushed and rough. The drill continued to hurt, especially around the cuticle area, and I was not asked if I was okay. After finishing, my nails were not properly cured under UV/LED light. I was simply told to keep my hands still for five minutes and then leave. The final result was uneven and not well shaped. I paid $55 and left feeling physically hurt and emotionally very upset. This was my first experience with nail extensions, and instead of feeling happy and confident, I left in tears. I have shared few pictures with this review you can see it clearly there with the proof. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving professionalism, communication, hygiene standards, and customer care so other clients do not have a similar experience.

I tried this place out because I saw how beautiful the nails were on the reviews, so I’d expect the same for the toes too. Safe to say I’m not disappointed at all. My nail tech Lina (or Tina, I forget sorry 😓) did an amazing job on my toes. Her details on the cuticle work was chef’s kiss. I got exactly the color and chrome that I wanted. I don’t usually get my toes done often, so yahhh I felt great walking out today.

I always come to HER for my nails and they did a stellar job during my bridal era. Just showing them a picture of what you want is enough and they will do an even better job than the referral picture!
