This was the most TECHNICAL massage of my life. It was quiet, cozy and relaxing and yet I could tell this methodical person knew the separation of every single muscle in my body and how to manipulate it. Also he doesn’t just stop the deep tissue on your back he brings it into the FULL body. Takes moments in between for gentle touch to reset your nervous system from tense to relax since deep tissue can be a little overwhelming (in a good way!) and checked in ever step of the way. He way kind considerate and the best masseuse I’ve ever found stateside. If you’re ever in the area this spa isn’t great because it’s aveeda. Been to many- it’s great because it’s hiatus. If you need deep tissue with real skill see Eric here or Caleb at their location on the hill. My go to people when I’m in town🩷🩷🩷

I absolutely LOVE Hiatus. I have been going off and on over the past 10+ years and every time it’s been a great experience. Friendly staff and the atmosphere is so relaxing. Highly recommend all services that they offer!
The customer service at the front desk is the worst. I inquired about their availability on Saturday for a couple’s massage or an individual massage. She suggested I explore other options in other locations, which she sounded quite annoyed over the phone. My husband promptly called the spa using a different phone number and inquired about today’s availability. To my astonishment, she revealed that there were four spots available. I was deeply disappointed by her blatant lie. I had two massages here, and both times, the customer service was terrible. The spa locker room reeked of sewage, and the bathroom was filthy. They neglect to clean the slippers, simply returning it to clean shelf after each customer’s use, which resulted in fungal growth on my feet. This establishment is utterly unprofessional, with hair strewn across the floor. Surprisingly, I ended up with bruises on my body after the massage, an experience I’ve never had at any other spa. I strongly advise against visiting this place. As a local guide, I can confidently say that it’s not worth the money.
