Highlander Knives Swords ETC

Highlander Knives Swords ETC is a cutlery store at 150 SW Ankeny St #155 in Portland, OR. Its name points to a focus on knives, swords, and related items, while customer reviews offer a more specific picture of the selection: shoppers mention Gibbons knives, throwing knives, and a blacked-out Spyderco Para 2. If you are looking for a particular model or type, contacting the store to confirm current availability is a practical first step; reviews describe specific finds, not a guarantee that any item is always in stock.

For Portland shoppers comparing local options, customer experiences suggest the selection may be especially worth checking for knives that are difficult to find elsewhere. One reviewer said they located a particular knife at a good price after searching several places, and another described returning for more throwing knives after finding the selection useful. A separate review mentions finding a sought-after Spyderco model after looking around town. These accounts make Highlander Knives Swords ETC a possible stop for shoppers with a specific knife in mind, as well as people browsing for a new addition to a collection. They do not establish a storewide pricing policy or a complete inventory, so it is sensible to ask about the exact product you want.

The shop is at the listed SW Ankeny Street address, and the supplied hours show it open on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and closed Sunday through Friday. That limited schedule makes planning ahead important, particularly if you are visiting downtown Portland or stopping in while exploring the area. One customer review describes browsing during Saturday Market, but the listing does not state any official connection with the market. Check the current hours before making a special trip, since business schedules can change. Reviews also mention a customer speaking with someone who was mailing out a knife; this is an individual account, not confirmation that shipping is a standard or currently available service.

The available feedback is mixed: the business has a 3.3 rating from 17 reviews. Some reviewers praise finding a specific knife, mention favorable pricing, or describe friendly and helpful service. Others report unsatisfactory interactions, including concerns about how they or their companions were treated. That range of feedback is useful context when deciding whether the shop fits your needs; no single review captures every visit. Highlander Knives Swords ETC may suit Portland-area customers who want to browse a specialized knife selection or ask about a particular model in person, especially on Saturday. Come with the item you are seeking in mind, verify availability and hours, and use the varied customer accounts as a grounded guide to what a visit may be like.
