Honest hands LLC

Honest hands LLC is a mechanic serving drivers in Portland, Oregon, at 1306 NE 2nd Ave, Portland, OR 97232. Customer experiences describe James as someone drivers have turned to for urgent problems as well as substantial repairs. The work mentioned in reviews includes help with a flat tire, transmission and engine repairs, check-engine concerns, and an electrical issue. These accounts offer practical context for people comparing local mechanics: customers have sought help when a vehicle would not run, when a warning light appeared, or when a problem needed attention that day. Honest hands LLC has a 3.9-star rating from 27 reviews, giving prospective customers a useful snapshot of feedback while leaving room to read individual experiences and decide what fits their needs.

Timely help is a recurring theme in the customer stories. One visitor to Portland said a rental car developed a flat on a Saturday evening and that James responded when they were struggling to find help. Other reviewers describe being fit in the same day they called, including a driver worried about a check-engine light and a customer with an electrical problem. A reviewer also says James worked methodically, went to find parts, and returned to complete the repair that day. These are individual accounts rather than a guarantee of availability, but they may be especially relevant if you are dealing with a car problem on a tight schedule or away from home. Calling ahead is a sensible way to discuss the issue and confirm what can be handled.

The reported work ranges from immediate roadside-type needs to more involved vehicle repairs. Reviewers mention a flat tire, a Dodge Charger needing transmission and engine work, an Impala SS that had stopped running, and an electrical fault. One customer says the cost of a major repair was about $6,000 and that James allowed payments; that experience is specific to that customer and should not be taken as a standard payment policy or price quote. If your vehicle needs diagnosis or repair, describe its make, model, symptoms, and any warning lights when you contact the shop. For larger jobs, ask about the proposed work, timing, parts, and payment arrangements directly before authorizing service.

Honest hands LLC is open Monday through Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and closed Sunday, according to its listed hours. The extended weekday and Saturday schedule may suit people whose workdays make typical shop hours difficult, though availability for a particular repair should be confirmed. Located on NE 2nd Ave in Portland, the shop may be worth considering for local drivers, visitors with a rental-car issue, or anyone seeking a mechanic for a reported tire, engine, transmission, check-engine, or electrical concern. Reviews reflect different vehicles and situations, so use them as a starting point and speak with James about your specific needs before making a decision.
