One of the central attractions of this neighborhood grocery store is its energetic fresh seafood department. Right next to the seafood tanks, shoppers can explore a bustling produce section where leafy Asian greens, specialty mushrooms, root vegetables, and exotic fruits move quickly off the shelves. Fruit enthusiasts can often find tropical selections like whole durian, while everyday cooks can stock up on fresh herbs, lemongrass, and aromatic staples essential for vibrant home-cooked meals.

Beyond raw ingredients, the store features an active in-house deli that draws steady traffic throughout the day. Visitors regularly stop by to pick up fresh Vietnamese sandwiches (bánh mì), known for their crisp bread and savory fillings, as well as Chinese roast meats and barbecue selections that make weeknight dinners effortless. In addition to food items, the market offers a dedicated merchandise and gift area carrying Asian cookware, kitchen utensils, specialty tableware, and seasonal cultural items, allowing customers to easily find both cooking staples and household essentials in one convenient trip.

Browsing through the aisles reveals an expansive array of imported pantry goods representing Chinese, Vietnamese, and wider Southeast Asian culinary traditions. Shelves are stocked deep with regional sauces, marinades, specialty noodles, jasmine rice, dried herbs, and an extensive frozen section filled with dumplings, buns, and prepared appetizers. While the store carries the lively, bustling atmosphere of an active cultural market with full shelves and a distinct market aroma near the fish counters, regulars appreciate the fast turnaround that keeps products rotating continuously.

Whether you are hunting for hard-to-find ingredients for a traditional recipe, grabbing a quick lunch from the deli, or doing weekly grocery shopping for the family, this local market delivers unmatched selection and wallet-friendly prices. I love Hong Kong market. This place is the best for all your Asian cuisine delicacies. There is also other ethnic cuisines there as well. All of which is to desire to quench your personal taste pallet, the fish market is the best. The freshest fish in the Pacific Northwest is at the Hong Kong market and they will clean them cut and gut them and fry them up for you. Free of charge the best fried fish in the world is at the Hong Kong market any location. I stop at this place Any chance I can just to purchase my favorite delicacies. I am truly grateful for the wonderful staff that operate the Hong Kong market. Thank you so much.

I was a bit disappointed. The facade looks quite substantial but once inside it became noticable that the areas nearest the outer walls were taken up by stock. Also I was immediately assaulted by the overwhelming smell of seafood. Looked like mostly clams and oysters, but certainly fish 🐟. Big Red Flag for me. If I can smell it, likely not real fresh. Produce area was lacking everything for which I was looking. The only Asian veggies I saw were daikan, and I'm not looking for radishes of any type. No potatoes, cabbage or much else. Had a large selection of groceries (packaged goods), but again, I was looking for Asian vegetables and really didn't find anything.

Of the three Hong Kong markets this one is my favorite. I like the selection in the gift/merch section. The folks behind the deli are a lot more consistent with the quality of the bbq and sandwiches. The produce moves quickly as does the seafood so far everything I have purchased has been great quality considering its exoticness. The cashier are efficient. I only dislike the parking lot, it’s always full and difficult to navigate with many vehicles coming in an out.

Great good for a good price! Wishing it was safer place though, lots of homeless people hanging around that area, littering everywhere they go even with there being a trash bin nearby them! I feel bad for the workers here, not as safe as I’d hope for them and their business.
