Hong Phat (Tigard) is a grocery store at 11655 SW Pacific Hwy, Tigard, Oregon 97223, serving shoppers in Tigard and nearby communities on Portland’s west side. It is a convenient place to look for Vietnamese and other Asian food products, everyday staples, and fresh produce in one neighborhood market. Customers mention its broad aisles and the selection of foods that can be difficult to find elsewhere, making it a useful stop whether you are stocking up on familiar ingredients or exploring something new for your kitchen.

The store’s groceries and produce are a central part of the experience. Shoppers describe a range of staple foods alongside fresh vegetables, which are stocked toward the back of the store, and note that the produce is packed fresh. The selection may be especially helpful for people looking for Vietnamese or Asian ingredients that are not available at every nearby supermarket. Stock can vary, and some reviewers say the store was still building out its selection, so a particular item may not always be available. If you have a specific ingredient in mind, it is sensible to check in person rather than assume it is in stock.

Hong Phat (Tigard) is a sister location to the Hong Phat store on 82nd, but shoppers note that the two locations do not offer identical departments. In particular, reviews say the Tigard shop does not have the seafood section found at the Portland location, and its hot-food selection is limited when available. That distinction can help set expectations: this location is primarily a grocery stop, rather than a place to count on for the broader seafood or prepared-food options associated with another store. Customers have also mentioned that housewares are not part of its selection.

Inside, reviewers describe wide aisles and a store that feels easy to browse, with some praising its cleanliness while others hope it will continue to be kept clean. The building itself may seem unusual, and the retail shop occupies only part of it, but the grocery selection is the practical focus for a visit. With a 4.3-star rating from 85 reviews, Hong Phat (Tigard) has drawn feedback that reflects both its useful assortment and the fact that its offerings are more limited than some shoppers expect. It may suit local residents who value specialty groceries and fresh vegetables close to home, especially in Tigard, Beaverton, Hillsboro, and Lake Oswego.

The store is open daily, Monday through Sunday, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. For a quick trip to pick up staple foods, produce, or a hard-to-find Vietnamese or Asian grocery item, Hong Phat (Tigard) offers a neighborhood option on SW Pacific Highway. Visit with the expectation of a focused grocery selection, and check the shelves for current availability, particularly if you are hoping to find a specific product or prepared food.

Even though the building is odd, they have lots of foods you can't find anywhere else. What's in the rest of the building? The store seems to only takes up a small portion of the building.

Fun Sister Store to the main Hong Phat on 82nd. Good staple foods and selection, nice packed fresh produce, no housewares, and limited hot food selection when available. Fun Vietnamese/asian food store close to home if you live in Tigard/Beaverton/Lake Oswego.

Arrived on the second day to check it out and I assumed it was going to be like the Portland store where it has a seafood section and their delicious hot food items…but they don’t.
