I have been going to the salon since 2020 and every time I leave feeling great, amazed with how my hair looks, and lucky to have found my stylist, Jacqui Che. She is a great listener who has combined my wishes and her growing sense of who I am as a person, with her talents and creative skills, to transform my look — both cut and color - in a way that builds my confidence and makes me feel my best.
I visited this salon today. My husband, a native English speaker with excellent communication skills, confirmed the price beforehand — we were clearly quoted $75 for a women’s wet cut, which also matches the price listed on their website (see screenshot). After a simple haircut with no additional services whatsoever, Jacqui Che charged us $95. We objected repeatedly, but she insisted. On top of that, she required cash only — I had to empty my wallet to pay. This feels like a deliberate bait-and-switch. Please be cautious before visiting this salon, and always confirm the final price in writing before you sit down.
I’m on vacation in Boston and today I attended House of colour hair salon. My hairstylist was Jacqueline Che- I was really happy with my visit. She is a superhero hairdresser, very chatty and relaxed person and it was a very enjoyable experience; And most importantly, my hair blew out was absolutely fabulous. Well done and thank you

Amazing experience with Jacquie! I keep coming back to get a cut and a balayage and she does the best job everytime. Her dry cut is always perfect and allows to see and correct the end result immediately. Jacquie also give great advice on color choices! Highly recommend!
