WHEN: Fri @12:30pm Finally got around to checking this shop out, just 2 years later, haha. Because of the location, I’m often hesitant to go by myself since I don’t know the parking situation. So when I had my mom drive for me to run in, there were actually like 2 open spots in front—metered parking. It was empty when I went in but after ordering, I notice most people picking up their items to go. So while this place doesn’t seem like a spot to hang out and work out of (even though there are counter seatings facing the window), it seems more of a take out/delivery kind of spot. I spoke to Russel, who was very helpful with my order, suggest that next time if I wanted any of the pandan drinks, I’d have to order early as they sell out. Perhaps I should have gotten one right then and there but I needed my caffeine fix, so I got their most popular coffee drink: HANOI EGG COFFEE - $8 Vietnamese coffee topped with their specialty egg cream. I rarely see any egg coffee so I knew this was my chance! Before mixing the egg cream, I appreciate how this literally tastes like iced Vietnamese coffee—bold and strong coffee flavor, with the rich and sweet taste from the condensed milk. Add that custard-like topping made it even better—yay protein! I appreciate that this comes as a hot beverage too as an option! I love that they have a nice selection of unique pastries, but it seems they have already sold out on some items. So here’s what I got to try: MOCHI BITES - $4 each I got both available flavors: BLACK SESAME and THAI TEA. They both have a wonderful chewy texture that I expect in a mochi muffin, and you really taste the flavors. I highly recommend! PANDAN COCONUT CROISSANT - $6 So nice of them to offer to heat it up. This flaky pastry has a pandan with shredded coconut filling..which if you are like me, I don’t care for anything coconut in shredded form. But I’m such a sucker for anything with pandan, haha. Overall not bad though! UBE POUND CAKE - $5.50 This tiny pound cake didn’t have much of an ube flavor, but it ain’t dry! It was moist and not too sweet. It was thoroughly enjoyed! I really hope to come back and try their other pastries and drink selections. I love how they decorated their shop, have cool merch to sell, and and appreciate how personal they made my first visit here. Thanks so much House of Phin, happy 2 year anniversary!

Wonderful customer service from start to finish. Everyone was warm, attentive, and made me feel welcome right away. When I ordered my drink, they even asked if I wanted Valentine’s flowers added on top, which was such an adorable and thoughtful touch. I passed, but it made the experience feel personal and kind. My drink was excellent, and the level of care they showed made the whole visit memorable. I’ll happily be back. ❤️

The staff is absolutely nice and professional. The vibes in side are great. I ordered a iced strawberry matcha and it was delicious! I just hate the neighborhood that it is in. If only we can pick up that little shop and place it in a better neighborhood. But everything else was superb.

Excellent crafted coffees, matchas and teas. The coffees are drip and made to order, the matcha is excellent. Had some pastries and they’re tasty as well but the drinks are the signature. Nice, friendly workers. The inside is very cute but limited seating, seems like it’s much more of a to-go place. It’s kind of easy to miss outside so look for its yellow awning neighbor. I usually walk here but did drive once and found parking rather challenging as it’s a tight one lane street. If you see a spot, grab it or park up the street past the shop. But don’t let parking deter you from these fantastic drinks.

I’ve had coffee all over the world and drink coffee almost everyday. This is a very well done take. *The coffee is hella strong* The flavor is robust, service is good, and the food offerings are unique. Price is pricey but you in California. So far I’ve tried the salted caramel, egg, and sesame. All have been fiyaa
