Huong Binh Bakery is such a hidden gem! We stumbled upon it while looking for a place that could handle a large banh mi order, and they were able to make 28 sandwiches in about 30 minutes for pickup. Super impressive. The shop also has a mini Vietnamese market with freshly made plates of the Vietnamese food I grew up eating, which made the stop feel even more special. I also loved that they offer catering options. We were just passing through from Ohio to DC and decided to make a pit stop, and I’m so glad we did. The banh mi was delicious l, slightly on the sweeter side, which I personally loved. They also had a “buy 8, get 1 free” special when we visited. Overall, such a great experience. If I lived closer, I’d probably be here all the time. Definitely planning to stop back in whenever we pass through the area again!

This little hole in the wall joint is pumping out done real good cheap eats, for under $10 you can score a bunch of snacks to eat and walk around Eden Center. Authentic, and delicious for the price, it's not fancy, not the best, but they are doing a good job. There was a slight language barrier, but the lady was helpful, kind and most of all patient to take and understand my order.

I placed a special order for 30 veggie springrolls among other things with an older white-hair woman, and she was very helpful since it was my first time here. And when I asked if they offer sauce for the spring rolls, she smiled and told me she would give me a small container of fish sauce with my order. And since the special order would take about 30mins. I decided to go have lunch in the same shopping center and come back later. When I came back, a different lady was at the counter and after she packed up the springrolls for me. I asked her about the sauce, which the other lady had already set it aside right next to my order. This lady denied the whole thing and said they don’t give out free sauce, and that everyone has to pay for it. And told me go to the shelf behind me to pick up a bottle of fish sauce which cost $3.50. But when I pointed out that the previous lady had told me that she would give me a small container, whilst pointing to the small sauce container which sat right next to my springrolls order. After some back and forth, this lady then got mad and started talking loudly in Vietnamese to her co-workers and started to ignore me. I was left speechless and decided to go talk to a different employee about this. And that employee finally convinced this rude woman to finally give us that container. I was honestly on the verge of asking for a refund on my order and just leave. All because she got greedy and wanted an extra $3.50, just to lose a $30 order. Needless to say, I won’t be coming back.
