Huong Que Vietnamese Restaurant is a Vietnamese restaurant at 272 Adams St in Dorchester, MA 02122, serving guests every day from 10:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. With a 4.5-star rating across 195 reviews, it has become a familiar option for people looking for Vietnamese food in Dorchester and the Boston area. Diners describe a welcoming neighborhood atmosphere, friendly employees, affordable meals, and portions that feel generous. Whether you live nearby, are visiting the area, or want to explore beyond the best-known Vietnamese dishes, Huong Que offers a broad menu to consider.

Pho is one of the restaurant’s recognizable choices, while customer reviews also call attention to dishes that may be less familiar to newcomers. Bún bò Huế, a spicy noodle soup from central Vietnam, is a recurring favorite: some diners praise its flavor, and one regular customer names it among the best versions they have tried. Other customer favorites include pork chop, bánh canh cua, a thick noodle soup with crab, and bún riêu, a tomato-based noodle soup that one regular says is their favorite. Together, these dishes make Huong Que a useful place to sample different styles of Vietnamese cooking, rather than limiting a meal to pho or bánh mì.

Customers mention the sense of authenticity they feel when they walk in, along with a casual, inviting environment suited to a relaxed meal. Families, repeat customers, and groups with different levels of familiarity with Vietnamese cuisine may all find something to enjoy. The menu’s range is particularly appealing if you are curious about dishes beyond the most widely known options. Friendly service and accessible prices are also recurring themes in positive reviews, helping make the restaurant a practical choice for an everyday lunch or dinner in Dorchester.

Experiences with particular dishes can vary. While several reviewers recommend the bún bò Huế, another customer described that bowl as fishier than expected and was unhappy with the pho broth and presentation. That difference in feedback is worth keeping in mind if you have specific preferences about broth or seasoning. Overall, reviews highlight flavorful food, satisfying portions, and warm service, while also showing that individual tastes differ. For current details, visit Huong Que Vietnamese Restaurant at 272 Adams St, Dorchester, MA; it is listed as open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Got Bun Bo Hue and Pho. Bun bo hue is weirdly fishy not the way it’s supposed to be. Everyone who has tried real Bun bo Hue knows the broth is still relatively clear like you can still see through it somewhat. Pho broth is the cloudiest pho broth I’ve ever seen and tasteless. Bad presentation as well. Also when we walked in we noticed every other table has free tea but us, all until the end we had to explicitly asked and they did give us tea. This would be an okay oversight if the food was good but it’s horrible. Traveled all the way to this place to try what is advertised as authentic Viet food but we were severely let down. The food is so bad it makes me mad and it disrespects Viet food on so many levels. You can easily make better stuff at home no idea how this restaurant even survives up until now. The Bun bo hue is abnormally bad and fishy I still can’t get over it The only nice thing is the tables are far away enough from each other

The food here is awesome for both taste and portion! One of the best Bon Bo Hue I’ve had and so too the pork chop! I definitely would recommend this restaurant!

Literally one of the best authentic Vietnamese spots in Boston. There’s something about the environment that makes you know the food is gonna slap immediately upon walking in. So many authentic dishes that encapsulate the true essence of Vietnamese cuisine. The Bánh Cành Cua was so flavorful and full of crab meat, pork blood, meat, quail eggs, and such a comforting broth. Came with fried dough sticks too. Such good value too at around $14! The catfish and pork claypot was so addicting and paired so nicely with rice. Some might say it’s too sweat but I personally love it. Please come check this place out!

My family and I are regular customers. The food is affordable and always tasty! What makes it even better are the employees; they are always super friendly and welcoming. :) The Bún riêu is my favorite dish here.
