We went to Huong Viet Restaurant for dinner on a Thursday night. It wasn’t busy, and we easily found a parking space. The restaurant is small but clean, and the menu is extensive. The service was friendly, but the waitress didn’t speak English well, so it was hard to ask her about the dishes. Also, it is cash only. We ordered pho, rice crepes with lemongrass beef, seafood porridge, and caramelized fish. All the dishes were fresh and tasty. We will definitely come back to try different dishes.
We had dinner here by recommendation of some local people. The food is great also the service. Everyone is kinda busy so you need to remind the server some times. Reservation is encouraged because dinner time is hard to find a table, especially if you have a group more than 4. The restaurant is featuring Vietnam authentic cuisine so there are some dishes may taste different than your experience. Overall, I would recommend to try this place if you visit Eden Center.
My friend just landed in Washington, D.C. after a long flight — super hungry 😅 So I took her straight to Eden Center because someone recommended Huong Viet. We walked in… and it was so dark inside, But we were hungry, so we stayed and ate anyway. Food was okay… but here comes the surprise — they don’t accept credit cards. Cash only. I was honestly shocked… a restaurant in the U.S. open for 30–40 years, and still no credit card? Let’s just say… it was an experience.
We stopped in here on a whim while walking around the Eden center and wow, what a hidden gem! Best pho in the area, hands down. I also got the lemongrass chicken with chiles, and it was to die for. The service was so great, very friendly and fast! One note, they only take cash and Zelle. Absolutely a must try in the area!
Huong Viet is one the last standing good restaurants in Eden Center VA. Crispy noodles yummy! They have broken rice, so good... see prices and menu. 2026.
