Sign in to reviewDelicious! Everything we had was fresh, fast, and good. The bok choy was the only thing that was underwhelming, and it wasn’t bad. It just wasn’t amazing as everything else. The avocado smoothie and avocado coffee were absolutely fire. Speaking of fire, a server that wasn’t even over our section rolled up to our table after overhearing a discussion we were having about spice. This is not Thai food, but we were talking about a funny experience I had ordering Thai hot, so she rolled up with a little bowl of something that looked kinda like fresh sambal olek. It was legit fire, and so good! The server’s name was Robin. So neat that she was that attentive to listen and come and engage with our table like that. I got two little cups to go. I’d be back for sure.
Huynh Restaurant consistently delivers great food and great service, which is why it’s always a standout when we’re in Houston. Everything we’ve had has been flavorful and well prepared, and the experience feels personal in the best way. One thing that really sets this place apart is that the owner actively walks the floor, checking in with guests and offering thoughtful menu suggestions. That level of involvement shows in both the quality of the food and the overall experience. They’re also very strong when it comes to gluten-free options. The staff is knowledgeable, comfortable answering questions, and clearly understands how to guide diners with dietary needs. That confidence makes dining here easy and enjoyable. Huynh is a place we trust and one I’m always happy to recommend.
The food over at Huyhn Restaurant was very delicious. The ambiance and atmosphere was amazing. Staff was great and friendly. Will comeback in the future. Very convenient nearby the George R. Brown Convention Center , Daikin Park, and Dynamo Stadium.
Heard viet food was good in Houston so I popped by here and it didn’t disappoint. I tried the beef noodles. They offered many cut of beef around 4. The broth was amazing the bowl was delicious. Would come back to try different things!
If I had to recommend one thing, it would be the fresh rice paper with charred pork (#96). I actually ordered the combination version, but the pork was definitely my favorite part. The pho and fried rice were okay - the soup base was a little light. Overall, it’s a dinner spot if you're in the area.
