Sign in to reviewA few weeks ago, I purchased a 2003 SLK 230. The same day I bought it, it began leaking transmission fluid. Some quick research and recommendations brought me to Pete at Imported Motor Cars. This is my first Mercedes and I am certainly very unknowledgeable about them. Pete did a full transmission service on my car and changed the battery. He also replaced the wiper blades free of charge, which was very kind of him. I held off on writing this well-deserved 5 star review because I wanted to make sure what I wrote was accurate. It has been out of the shop for a few weeks now and it is driving like a dream, far better than I had ever expected. Pete is very communicative with you no matter your knowledge level and takes care to explain exactly what he is doing and why he is doing it. I saw everything he saw, and learned a lot about my car in the process. He is thorough!! Not to mention, his prices are extremely fair. He is a man of his word and the job he did on my “new” car is exquisite. You can trust Pete with any car. He is an expert on them all. I will only take my cars to Pete from now on. No other mechanic will suffice!
I've been bringing my Audi A8L to Pete for years now. He keeps it in great shape, he's honest and does great work. He has even submitted warranty replacements in suspension parts that I didn't even realize broke. I'll always bring my Audi here to Pete he's an excellent and honest Mechanic...and actually he's more of an engineer. He knows everything about these cars.
Great service!! Pete does great job on all my cars! Explains car problems very well and in depth. Just brought in my moms fiat that wouldn’t run… Pete called me multiple times clue me in on the issues in the car and car was fixed pretty quickly. 10/10 reccomend.
I highly recommend taking your vehicle to this shop! I have a Range Rover Sport that I've had all of my maintenance and other issues taken care of here. The service provided is fantastic! Pete goes the extra mile. He sends videos and pictures of diagnostics, shows me the parts that needed replacement, gives me a fair, honest quote, and overall gets the job done punctually. I was in San Diego and around Santee, CA and my car light up like Christmas lights while I was on the road. My cousin shared the number for this business. Went to the shop and met Pete on a Saturday and I understand he does only admin work on Saturday’s. However, he was super kind and was ready to help me out.
