I just recently bought some eggless pastries from this Indian Village Market , and I was shocked at the condition of the pastries once I opened them. They had visible mold, were completely hardened, and clearly not safe to eat. The stench of sourness coming from the cake was unbearable. It smelled spoiled and inedible. My daughter even tried it and threw up! To make things worse, the jalebi I purchased smelled like chlorine and tasted off, as if it was expired. I’m genuinely concerned about how such items are being stored and sold. They could’ve Atleast say that their pastries were fresh, but no, just eager to sell. This was a really disappointing and alarming experience. I would strongly caution others to check their items carefully before buying anything here.

Selling spoiled food & aweful customer service: Major warning to anyone shopping here: check your bakery items carefully. I bought a chocolate pastry that was entirely ruined, stale, and smelled totally off just like other reviewers have warned about. When I called the store to bring it to their attention so no one else would get sick, the staff provided awful customer service. Instead of apologizing or appreciating the heads-up, they actually tried to blame me for the condition of the food. It is alarming that a business would treat customers this way over a legitimate health hazard. Will never buy from here again.

Staff are very nice and polite in walking me a complete Indian cuisine newbie through their indian bakery display. Picked a selection of sweets to try and found some whole spices to take home!
