Innovative Auto Service - Oklahoma City OK

Innovative Auto Service - Oklahoma City OK is an auto repair shop at 6417 S Shields Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73149. It serves drivers looking for help diagnosing and repairing vehicle problems, including air-conditioning concerns. The shop’s customer feedback reflects a strong local reputation: it has a 4.8 rating from 499 reviews. Customers describe professional service, clear communication, and repairs completed in a timely manner. Experiences can vary, and one reviewer felt the diagnostic fee was high for a straightforward issue, so it may be helpful to ask about diagnostic costs and approval steps before work begins.

Air-conditioning repair is a service highlighted in customer reviews. One driver brought in a 2009 Ford Escape Hybrid whose A/C was blowing hot air; the shop diagnosed the problem, replaced defective parts, and provided updates and photos during the process. The customer reported that the A/C was working like new afterward. Other reviewers mention summer A/C problems and receiving different quotes and information about recommended work and what could be done the same day. These accounts offer useful context for drivers dealing with warm air, a system that is not cooling properly, or questions about repair options. They do not guarantee a particular result or turnaround for every vehicle.

Customers also mention being kept informed, receiving explanations about needed repairs, and having staff who listened and answered questions. Some reviews describe repairs finished within a few hours or a vehicle being looked at sooner than expected, including a Friday repair completed before the weekend. Timing depends on the vehicle, the diagnosis, parts, and the shop’s schedule, but these experiences suggest that communication and practical updates are important parts of the service. If you need to arrange a drop-off, discuss a diagnostic, or ask whether a repair may be completed the same day, contacting the shop in advance can help set expectations.

Innovative Auto Service is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and closed Saturday and Sunday. Its Oklahoma City location on S Shields Blvd is a local option for drivers seeking auto repair, especially those looking for help with A/C diagnosis and repairs. The reviews make it a potential fit for people who value updates, clear explanations, and the chance to discuss recommended work before deciding how to proceed. For the most accurate estimate of timing and cost, describe the symptoms and confirm the diagnostic fee and proposed work directly with the shop.
