Sign in to reviewThey ruined my nails completely! During the service I said the nail doesnt look right, they said they will do step by step and give best service. But now my nails are chipping and looks bulky. They also used a smaller nail on my thumb that has been hurting. When i reached out about this, they expect me to drive down from Fremont again. They are not even refunding the money. Skip this place! Its not worth the money and they are not at all professionals! They will not listen when you tell them something.
i like my nails, but i don’t love them. showed the nail tech their own review picture for the shape i wanted and received regular square instead. the acrylic application is also bumpy on a few nails. not to mention my index finger nails were wayyyy longer than the rest. didnt notice until i got home but you think the professional would notice. don’t think i’ll return. edit: they used AI to generate a response and left “[your name] [salon name]” at the end.
Asked for a while gel manicure/pedicure with chrome. Both techs were very kind, but the quality (especially on the manicure) is so poor and certainly not worth $100. I left with every single cuticle flooded, and cured polish all over my finger tips. Even worse, the techs tried to “fix” the flooding post hoc by chopping and filing off healthy cuticle, both my fingers and toes were bleeding by the end of it. The only positive to my experience is that the two women were kind, but I won’t be coming back and I certainly wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
They did an excellent job! I got a pedicure and did their add on service which came with 20 minute foot massage amongst other things. I had Mary for the day and she was very sweet. They also have a rewards program for loyal customers which is nice. 10/10!
⚠️If I could give 0 stars I would. FIRST of all MIMI offered me a discount on my next set I wrote a good review- so they are trying to buy reviews from there customers. I suggest everyone who had a bad experience with this nail salon call and notify the ⚠️Better Business Bureau (BBB) ⚠️ in your area about your problem. They will investigate this nail salon and fine them or shut them down if needed. I got my nails done at Island Girl Pedicure in San Jose by a lady named MiMi - first time getting my nails done here and she did a horrible job on my nails and was being lazy- she tried to get me to choose different colors because she wanted it to be easier for her to do French tip nails with a pointy brush- I’ve never had a nail lady tell me to choose different colors because it’s more convenient for them before. I told her no and she proceeded angrily. When I went home my nails were chipping the next day- she rushed to do them and I texted her the next day and told her what happened and she said to come in. She fixed 2 nails and I told her they will chip again and to fix the others but she said no (she was being sloppy and lazy again with her work) so guess what happens? They chip again of course and I call back and ask to speak to the manager and she says the manager is not here and said she will call me back with a solution. She calls back (the same lady) and said she was the manager this time. (Pretending to be the owner) she asked me to come in so they can completely take off my nails and that’s the only way I will get refunded (I work everyday and do not have time to go in) so I said I’ll take a partial refund. I paid over $70 for these bad nails and the best they could offer me was $15. Absolutely ridiculous and very unprofessional. Don’t go here and waste your time. Theres better nail shops out there! They have horrible reviews on yelp barley 3 stars. They are also unsanitary
